4chan is a website that utilizes Google's captcha service, it does not control how the captcha service actually functions. Please keep this in mind before making another thread about captchas in the future, as the 4chan staff has no control over how captcha functions.

Also, turn on legacy captcha. Only works for replies, though. For thread posting, you may be able to make it better with 4chan X and the "Force Noscript Captcha" option, but that's been flaky recently too.

I live on such a tight budget that something of that nature would never happen to me these days.

Well, I would imagine a simply post counter would suffice. If a thread has over 20 replies, and the original poster only has 1 post, then the thread is hidden.

A lot of shitposting is done with 1 post by the original poster. I'd imagine this script would eliminate the overwhelming majority of bait and shitposts.
