That's the reason why frog/pol-posters completely OWN you. You are their bitch because you become the weapon to completely mess up the board whenever they make threads.
Fast board is bad for everyone. Whenever a troll thread is created you start sliding the board, but troll threads can be recreated and bumped, so your efforts are here just for doing free labor for trolls destroying the board. .

> /qa/ had two years of "just roll over and let them do it" and it's not going back to those days.
Rather than letting them tire themselves out, you're going to keep counter spamming and destroy threads you might care about in the hopes of bumping completely expendable frog threads they hardly care about? They can recreate those frog threads or bump existing ones at the drop of a hat. Meanwhile, desperate people are going to force shitty, watered down threads to counteract the frog spam. They may even bump those watered down threads with spam replies just to push down the frog threads. All this while the frogposters are laughing their asses off turning /qa/ upside down with minimal effort. Sounds like a raw deal.

When's the last time you saw a good discussion about another board in /qa/? Even during the "delete /pol/" era of /qa/, you could see from some of the discussions that eventually drew in modcat that there were a lot of storied 4chan veterans who deeply cared about their boards posting in /qa/. It's sort of funny that they would insult a vastly superior board. Could it be any more obvious that their attitude stems from insecurity? The weeb mafia claims to love anime, but their understanding of anime and their tastes in general pale in comparison to the average /a/ user. Their knowledge of Japanese culture is also pedestrian at best, and so what it is they specialize in remains a mystery to everyone.

It's hilarious how grossly you misjudge effort and obsession. All that needs to be said is that it takes a very particular kind of person to voluntarily spend hours and hours on a board they despise, frantically digging through the archive, researching and absorbing another board's history and culture, and, of course, manually (lol) bumping their threads. Which, needless to say, are the only threads they enjoy or "contribute" to on /qa/. On the other hand, I can guarantee that I could spend two weeks away from /qa/ and still find dozens of interesting discussions and threads I like when I come back.
>>
>>1466251
First, we're separate posters. I'm the second one. The other thing is you don't know that the frog posters despise /qa/. It's pretty damn probable they're driving you out BECAUSE they like /qa/ and want it to become a meta board again. You can't assume that because they shit on anime that they have it in for this place.

> It's pretty damn probable they're driving you out BECAUSE they like /qa/ and want it to become a meta board again.

Either you're ridiculously naive or one of them. They could easily make meta threads and bump them like they bump their frogshit threads but they don't actually do that because they're little dickheads that like participating in e-wars they made up in their heads because they're just fucking epic trolls like that. At least the /jp/edos have a goal of having their little anime circle jerk, the frogshitters on the other hand are just being belligerent for the sake of being belligerent.
>>
>>1466273
>They could easily make meta threads and bump them like they bump their frogshit thread
And weebs could make meaningful anime-themed threads instead of mass-manufacturing garbage that gets fifty canned bumps, but they don't. Also, unlike canned imagedumping garbage which can be kept alive for months without any problem, actual conversations with actual people go stale after a few hours. The only thing you can fight spam with is spam.
>>
>>1466260
I didn't say you were the same person, it was a plural "you". You're right that I don't know, how could I? It's just a guess, but it ultimately doesn't matter because I'm not being driven out and I don't care what they want. I'm staying here regardless and I know the posters whose company I enjoy are as well. To address your post in particular, every thread is expendable. I can just as easily remake and bump whichever threads I want if they die or get spammed by a very buttflustered person copypasting entire threads from /jp/ (again: obsession), but, believe it or not, I don't need to. I've made threads that stayed up for weeks and I didn't post in them a single time after creating them. Again, though, it doesn't matter. All that matters is that I know I come to /qa/ because I like what the board has to offer, and even when it's being spammed, I can simply hide shitty threads and continue posting as usual and not feel like I'm wasting my time, something that can't be said for everyone here.

Wew, what a fucking leap of logic. They could, dunno, just bump the meta discussion threads? But you know, it's better to just make another bazillion frog threads obsessing over those fucking gosh darn weaboos and their fucking cartoons!
>>
>>1466264

The notion that people should fight mass-manufactured spam with things other than mass-manufactured spam is pointless moralizing. The people who first started operating the spambots were yours. Now the fallout is everywhere. You shit in your own bed, so lie in it.

I'm just dismantling the rather naive notion that our froggy friends are spamming the board because they actually want to discuss meta. I'm not trying to claim moral superiority.

Actually they just want to shitpost, and /qa/ is a board with no moderation and a small poll of users (meta posts) who they try to drive away and gain control of board. It happens exclusively due to lack of moderation, they would not try to do this on /jp/ or any board with a decent janitor or a bigger amount of users like /b/ or /v/.

2D/randomfags and Frogposters are in a play pretend war where they both spam and bump their pointless threads endlessly by hand or with bot and then blame it on eachother. It quickly speeds up and takes over the board because it's slow anyway.

>and destroy threads you might care about
This can only happen during asuka spam or someone else who can do it with great speed, and that's only if no one is here. If you think /qa/ doesn't watch over its threads you're silly. Even without bots or scripts people are here to keep things alive.
Are you new to /qa/? These purges used to happen daily, but later at night. The difference is that the obsessive discord kids now watch their threads very closely now and bump them nearly 24/7 when it used to be they'd bump every 5-8 hours.
Finally, you can praise the raiders all you want, but you won't discourage me or anyone else from caring about this place.

>>1466083
>When's the last time you saw a good discussion about another board in /qa/?
The /r9k/ thread from last week was pretty decent. Trying to shift the blame onto /qa/ when this raid group previously made even the happenings thread unusable due to troll spam is absurd. But hey, you're not complaining about them, are you? Nope.

>>1466195
Whatever. It's nothing new and has been a tool used by /qa/ to purge undesirables. What was it that killed the 60 GR15 threads that was months old 2016? Was it a mod? No, it was coordinated spam from /qa/.

>>1466264
If you mean the "2D" threads that are "delete /qa/" or "/qa/ sucks, go away" then yes, it's possible.
In case anyone is new to /qa/ and isn't aware of these schizos, here is their most recent thread where they proudly claimed success of their "mission" to destroy /qa/:
https://desuarchive.org/qa/thread/1408322/
Of course, they're still here obsessively fighting their e-war.

tl;dr: you are disingenuous and you will not convince /qa/ to stop protecting itself. Have a nice day.
>>
>>1467386

>>
>>1467532
>you are disingenuous and you will not convince /qa/ to stop protecting itself. Have a nice day.
What are you protecting /qa/ from when you're throwing these spammers a bone by acknowledging their impact? How are you protecting /qa/ when the label "undesirables" has been a broad brush term that's been used to describe people who want to discuss site matters or anything at all that's not anime?

>>1467644
>No matter how hard you try, this "ship" is not going down.
As far as your goals are concerned, it already has. You won't ever get a frog free environment to post 2D/Random in. You'll always be on the defensive, locked in hostile exchanges, with your fingers on the scripts every day. That's not what you envisioned when you began settling here, I'm sure. You can filter, hide, report and generally live with this condition, but it's not ideal. It's a nagging pain that flares up and will continue to flare up because you were too immature to let the raids run their course.

Had you thought about this at all, you would have realized that feeding trolls results in satisfied trolls, which results in trolls who come back.
