Today we will bake a cake for valentines day! We will go by first post first served for suggestions, so pick the ingredients wisely! What should we start with first?

LOTS AND LOTS OF FLOUR
Since /qa/ has become a community board, I thought it'd be nice to show off the best of our homeboards.
I'll start with good ol' /b/
I'll dump what I have till someone else joins in
>go on ED surfing spree to indulge in nostalgia as moot has left
>end up on the article for awesome face
>apparently it originated on some tiny website called Pokemopolis
>try visiting Pokemopolis
>its forums closed last year and the website itself is closing at the end of 2015
Why does time keeps ruining everything?
The awesome face is such a big milestone in internet culture. Yeah, it got fucked and turned into pure unmediated cancer since at least 2008, but you can't deny it wasn't popular as fuck. Kids had awesome face as their game avatars for ages (and even to this day I can still spot a few on tf2), and yet the origin of this thing is fading to obscurity in front of us. If it wasn't for this ED article, who would've known the origin of the awesome face? Who would know its origin in 5 years? Who will remember Pokemopolis in 10 years?
Which other websites out there are dying or already died? Pokemopolis will forever be doomed because most kids who like Pokemon nowadays go to /r/pokemon or whatever. Little communities no longer have a place in this world. How many small sites with their own unique culture and memes no longer exist, or are dwindling down into nothingness? I have my own fair share of baggage and sites I used to visit in highschool, and I just realized I haven't checked up on any of them in years. I just went over them and realized one of them closed down and I didn't even know.
Fuck time... Fuck huge sites eating up smaller ones (including even 4chan). Fuck everything. I want the old internet back.
We all do anon... we all do...

Huh, what do you know, I thought it came from SA. I remember seeing it all the time in there before it exploded on 4chan
>tfw used to be balls deep in the San Andreas RP scene
>tfw all the good communities have dwindled down into nothings
>tfw there are only 2 decent servers on MTA but none of them have the original people
>tfw everyone you used to play with has moved on with their lives
What are you personally doing to make 4chan a better place?
I try to encourage cross-boarders and I actually post nice things without emoticons. Just wanna bring back the old mentality of this site.
>>58696
encourage lurking. It is the key to success
Doing my part for the community :^)
I'm trying to stop mindlessly clicking into threads I know will anger me, instead going in threads that I think I'll enjoy.
I've started to realize that too often I'll continue to read shit even while it's pissing me off. And in turn then I go be a bitter asshole to others.
If GET, we raise $1,000,000 dollars to pay moot our respects.

Anyone have a summary of the important bits of the moot Q&A?
I can't really motivate myself to watch an 8 hour video.

You could say
Gomenasai /qa/, my name is Ken-Sama.
I’m a 27 year old American Otaku (Anime fan for you gaijins). I draw Anime and Manga on my tablet, and spend my days perfecting my art and playing superior Japanese games. (Disgaea, Final Fantasy, Persona series)
I train with my Katana every day, this superior weapon can cut clean through steel because it is folded over a thousand times, and is vastly superior to any other weapon on earth. I earned my sword license two years ago, and I have been getting better every day.
I speak Japanese fluently, both Kanji and the Osaka dialect, and I write fluently as well. I know everything about Japanese history and their bushido code, which I follow 100%
When I get my Japanese visa, I am moving to Tokyo to attend a prestigious High School to learn more about their magnificent culture. I hope I can become an animator for Studio Ghibli or a game designer!
I own several kimonos, which I wear around town. I want to get used to wearing them before I move to Japan, so I can fit in easier. I bow to my elders and seniors and speak Japanese as often as I can, but rarely does anyone manage to respond.
Wish me luck in Japan!

Howdy buckaroos, my name is Kenichi Smith.
I'm a 27 year old Japanese Toonaholic (Cartoon fan for you foreigners). I draw cartoons and comics on my tablet, and spend my days perfecting my art and playing superior American games. (Halo, Gears of War, Call of Duty)
I train with my 1911 every day, this superior weapon can shoot straight through steel because it kicks ass, and is vastly superior to any other weapon on earth. I earned my gun license two years ago, and I have been getting better every day.
I speak English fluently, both the Midwestern and the East Coast accents, and I write fluently as well. I know everything about American history and their Constitution, which I follow 100%
When I get my American visa, I am moving to New York to attend a prestigious High School to learn more about their magnificent culture. I hope I can become an animator for Nickelodeon or a game designer!
I own several cowboy outfits, which I wear around town. I want to get used to wearing them before I move to America, so I can fit in easier. I keep cool to my elders and seniors and speak English as often as I can, but rarely does anyone manage to respond.
Wish me luck in America!
