Let's find out how many of you actually are from Reddit.
>Fark
I never asked for this feel
>>327524
I can't believe it's still active. The average age there must be 45.
>>327517
in all honesty, none of those options (at least not once a week)
used to go on 420chan fucking YEARS ago though
These days I go on one traditional forum (mostly to talk /vr/ shit but with people who don't go to /vr/) and 4chan. That's the entirety of my "social" internet presence.
西村 博之
The kanji, in order, mean
西 (Nishi) - West
村 (Mura) - Village
博 (Hiro) - Not as simple of a meaning as the others. This means something along the lines "one who has gained renown / one who commands esteem." This kanji appears in Doctor and PhD.
之 (Yuki) - Used as the possessive の in some older Japanese (perhaps all older Japanese) dialects. Seldom used, mainly used in names.
Hiroyuki Nishimura - Doctor of the Western Village
2ch = eastern village
4chan = western village
Doctor = someone who treats or repairs someone for the better
Is Hiroyuki-senpai are Messiah?
>>327448
/pol/ here. They say the jews fear the samaurai.
>>327448
already knew that just from the word filters desu senpai
>>327448
beautiful.
Hiro is our savior
You've discussed it with /lit/, Hiro.
Where is the /fic/ board?
>>327438
He tends to make boards on weekends if the recent past is any indicator
Hopefully canceled
Christ stop adding fucking boards on and fix the ones that need dire help!
TOP THREE BOARDS?
TOP THREE BOARDS.
1. /r9k/
2. /qa/
3. /lit/
What do you think the greatest boards on 4chan are? As in the highest quality and best community?
>>327152
1. /r9k/
2. /s4s/
3. /qa/
1. /int/
2. /s4s/
3. /sp/
Could you please unfilter cuc.k?
I see no valid reason it should be filtered.
At the very least filter it to something other than the worst [s4s] meme stolen from WoW.
>>326879
Of course it's the dumb frogposter can't take a joke and doesn't want anybody else to have fun.
>>326886
I, along with the overwhelming majority of anons on this site, have fun saying cuc.k, I don't see why filtering it is particularly funny to anybody and filtering it to kek is boring.
I'm so sick of seeing the word that I hope the filter is permanent. Learn to diversify your stupid shit.
Since there's been a debate over whether or not to set up a /l/ board, I have a question: what exactly constitutes a "loli"? Is it matter of age, or appearance?
For example: Misty from Pokemon is stated to be 10 (which is underage), yet she looks around 14 (which is less underage, but still underage). Of course, neither have stopped the Internet from drawing R34 of her. Is she a loli?
Then there's a character like Sailor Moon, who is stated to be 14 (which is underage) but looks around 18 (which is not underage). Once again, neither has stopped the creation of hentai. Is she considered a loli?
Would you say it would be better not to create /l/ since the FBI is starting to crack down on you guys (after sites like Paheal and the Foundry cleaned up their act)? Are you getting nervous?
Loli = underage little girl or an adult girl with a little-girl body
Pettanko = term for adult women who are flat-chested
And I'll only get nervous when the leftist pedohysteria gets to my country at such retarded levels.
>>326616
>Pettanko
The most patrician fetish.
>Why hasn't Japan banned child-porn comics?
Because they're not "muh feefees :(" retards. Deal with it, BBC niggers.
This is the face of 4chan.
No, this is.
>>326592
Actually, its this.
Thanks /pol/.
>>326592
Does Hiro genuinely think that 'le Anonymous' represents 4chan or is he just fucking with us?
I think he's only vaguely familiar with 4chan and only bought it because he had a falling out with the other guy on 2ch. It's up to us to educate him on 4chan culture and customs.
He literally invented anonymous textboards and imageboards as we know him. He's just doing it for fun.
>>326576
>him
*them

That's the point of sage. Just add an error-like message everytime someone uses it to remind them that it's not a downvote. Either that or make it a tickable option in the post interface that says "do not bump" since sage isn't well understood outside of Japan.
>>326180
>tickable option
The "options" field is there for a reason
>>326182
Except the only option these days is sage. Having an input field made sense when there were more options.
Why is /co/ so poorly moderated?
I've seen pictures of people on /mu/ who have filtered out literally everything but the classical general and one or two other threads that just so happen not to trigger their extensive list.
>>326104
But it's pretty easy to filter threads on /mu/, whereas you can't really filter /tv/ and /v/ threads without also filterting comic/cartoon threads.
Literally worst board next to /soc/.
This is a board that is being considered by Hiro himself.
Last one got deleted once the original OP realized he couldn't talk about his favorite pony show and got BTFO. Now let's have a real discussion.
It's clear that by making /fg/, risk people and quest people would be affected. What else should go onto /fg/?
First off, bronies have their own board so they have no right to complain.
Secondly, why not just a quest board with CYOA?
Risk is tricky. They should belong on /b/, but they're very big too.
>>326032
I thought a quest board would make more practical sense, with quietly allowing CYOA in at a later date.
Risk probably would thrive better being on multiple boards as it is.
>>326028
I can see the merits of /fg/, but I don't think it should be linked from anywhere other than the sticky on /tg/, i.e. it shouldn't be linked from the 4chan start page. I think there is a risk that an influx of posters who aren't from /tg/ would completely shit up the board and the quests therein.
Hiro, you should know that most of 4chan no longer identifies with the "Anonymous" "hacker" movement. Although about half of us also browse reddit and people from hobby boards more often than not have tumblr accounts, we prefer to keep our culture different and separate from those sites. This is not an attack on the way you are handling things or whatever, but given the links you've been shoving down our throats
>Aaron Schwartz
>The current Anonymous video
I thought I'd make it clearer how some (maybe most) 4chan users prefer their 4chan experience. I have no problems with the links you shared, but if they are meant to be indicators of where you want to lead this site, I'd like you to reconsider how that would affect the userbase.
>>325996
>Although about half of us also browse reddit
Quit trying to validate your faggotry by pretending you're not the minority.
Maybe you're not on whatever normalfag board you come from, but the majority of 4chan doesn't browse reddit
why
Hiro, please take this shit down
>>325951
hahaha
Hiro is so naive.
Instead of whining about what boards to delete or add, would you mind telling me who's your favorite Touhou character?
reminder that any reply other than patchouli is wrong
>>325671
Whatever floats your boat, bro
I like the drunk one.
Why do you guys always bully s4s?
this is not a nice boarde
newfigs on [s4s] giving the board a bad name
makes me a bit sad
I wish swaglord would man up and delete all the garbage
Make [s4s] great again
>>325565
because unhappy people tend to hate people who appear to be enjoying themselves
basically /qa/ are just a bunch of burned out nofunallowed pessimists who get their panties in a bunch when they see boards of whimsical nature such as [s4s]
/qa/ is "get off my lawn" tier
>>325569
>be newfig on [s4s]
>be polite, respectful, check the double.
>mfw XD
