>/trash/
Fucking why?
>>331030
Are you angry about it?
>>331034
A bit. Why do we need another /b/? It'd be better if there was no thread creation.
It would've been a really unique board if there was no thread creation (however, that might have caused people to intentionally shitpost on other boards to get onto /trash/) but as it is now it's just what, /b/ 4.0 at this point?
Why the fuck do we still have tripfags?
Literally what's the point.
Read the FAQ.
I use mine to track my posts in the archives
>>331017
So you can filter them.
RED
THIS IS NOT A THREAD ABOUT ANTHRO ON /MLP/
MAKE YOUR OWN FUCKING THREAD FOR THAT
Delete /mlp/
>>330987
We already have >>>/trash/, anon.
GR15 is lifted there and horsefuckers can finally spam all the horse porn they want.
>>330996
Not good enough. It belongs on /mlp/.
>can't avatar post anymore
>can't embed files in images anymore
>noko set to default and you can't even nonoko anymore
>invisible sage
>removed the email field
>can't reverse header anymore
>can't blank post anymore
>can't post special characters anymore
>can't post certain memes anymore
What do you think the next no fun allowed, arbitrary change will be, /qa/?
The only positive change I can think of is the ability to post .webm files, but they still messed that up by disabling sound.
nonoko works, just not on the quick reply box.
You can remove audio streams from WebMs with WebM Converter aka WebM for Retards.
https://gitgud.io/nixx/WebMConverter
dumb frogposter. and a imgur filename no less.
You can't also bump your own threads (if no reply is posted in the meantime) until 10-15 minutes have passed.
>there is a board on this site where anons petition the administration to ban various forms of expression
>these same anons criticize reddit for banning certain forms of expression
>these anons derail their own threads with a series of repetitive, witless exchanges comprised entirely of "you're a redditor"
>the word "reddit" is used more frequently on this board than any other board on this site
YOU CANNOT MAKE THIS SHIT UP
>>330868
You think your shitty goldface image is more dazzling than mine? Huh? HUH?

So let's get a running tally of the major community requests to An Hiro.

Change is happening.
>>330785
>fix /d/
These changes broke /d/ in the first place
>>330816
I doubt Hiro intended this
its only the faggot mods who did this really
He talked about the captcha during a /his/ thread. He said he liked how it helped to digitalise books.
I want to see how the Textboards are going and how he sees the current mods.
There is no rule against ponies on /trash/. It's going to turn into a dumping-ground for pony porn. Was this the purpose all along?
>>330582
Just bully them to death.
Is furry shit allowed as well?
>>330583
like that would work.
>boards.4chan.org/trash
WHAT'S GOING ON
Why do we need this?
How does it differ from /b/?
/s4s/ 2.0?
How did we find out about this board, exactly?
4chan Cup should get its own board /4cc/, yay/nay.
All team discussions can be freely discussed in its own contained thread without the need to stealth create the thread on the main board (some board mods are still very militant about 4cc thread and continues to delete them)
When a team wins, the fans can invade and shitpost on the loser team thread instead of an board invasion. (Eg. /mlp/ invaded /g/ after Summer Cup 2015)
>>330520
If and when there are more sports played besides the one. I can't stare at virtual football all day anon.
Nah not enough people watch the cup and it's more fun to post on /mlp/ anyways
OK I'm sick of this bullshit. We need webms with sound enabled on EVERY board now. Fuck moot, that faggot, for doing this shit. Literally no fucking reason to.
>but mommy t-the scweamews are s-scawy!!
Are you fucking 12?
Fuck you moot, fucking faggot.
I hope he reads this and gets depressed.
>>330430
If only there was a way that displayed the sound of a webm before opening it. Y'know, something like Soundcloud
>>330430
That's a very descriptive filename.
>Replying to a thread stating that you've reported or "saged" it, or another post, is also not allowed.
Why is this a thing? Aren't there ever threads that deserve people shouting SAGE and REPORT repeatedly? It seems like an outdated legacy rule from the /b/ spam years that could go away.
>>330376
without the rule they'd be used like downvotes or little pissant threats people would use to win arguments
>>330379
Call me naive if you want but I guess I've only ever seen people say things like "REPORTED" if it actually deserved it.
>>330379
>win arguments
There's no winning here; we've all already lost.
Is /tv/ worth saving?
it's already the best board on 4chan
No! There must be one board in the wreckage, brother!
>>330293
>autistic contrarianism
>/pol/ spamming 24/7
>generally the worst-spirited people on 4chan
What boards don't like anime?
I know /tv/ and /lit/ are not very fond of it for example.
/lit/ seems fine with anime in my experience. If you post an anime picture they won't derail the discussion because of it. They only get mad if you make an anime troll thread, and everyone gets mad at troll threads everywhere so that's no surprise.
Real talk, I'm pretty sure boards don't collectively agree upon disliking something like anime. For example, a lot of people will say how /v/ these days is filled with tards hating anime and japanese related stuff, but /v/ clearly has threads about japanese media still and you'll find people posting anime-related images in those threads and elsewhere.
Best answer is you have different boards with different people with different interests.
Also inb4 thread devolves into another anime vs anti-anime shitstorm with 257 replies and 38 images omitted, click here to view.
>>330189
>What boards don't like anime?
what? boards are just places for people to post, they aren't hiveminds where everyone has the same opinion
What the fuck is with the /pol/ timers? People can make a thread every 60 seconds and make a post every 15 seconds. This basically allows thread sliding and forcing thread 404s prematurely. Explain why this shit is still like this after the kuckening.
Pic unrelated.
>>330185
What's more reasonable timers in your opinion.
>>330223
Same as every other board. I think /vg/ is the only one with irregular post timers(higher).
These low ass timers are leftovers from that prank moot pulled on the board.
>>330224
/b/, /his/, /jp/, /pol/,
The normal is
threads: 600,
images: 60,
While /pol/, /his/, and /b/ get
threads: 60,
replies: 15,
images: 15,
Which brings me to the question of why does /jp/ have such a long thread timer?
threads: 3600,
replies: 30,
images: 60,
Anyway, while replies aren't significantly different that thread timer being 1/10th is fairly significant. I don't see any reason /pol/ should be different than the majority of the site with it's thread timer. Or /his/ for that matter.

Can we get a sci-fi board please Hiro?
Another nerd board is just what this place needs instead of adding more porn or normalfag boards.
>>330176
Lord of the Ring is for homo's
>>330176
/tv/ needs a waifu/celebrity board more than than it needs a scifi board splt off of it.
the celebrityfags leak into other boards like /hr/ and /gif/
>>330179
yeah, more containment boards is what we need.
Let's just surround the "real" 4chan boards with a whole bunch of stuff to attract the people we don't like.
I don't see how anything could possibly go wrong, I mean it's not like those people could ever possibly start to think they belong here more than we do and try to tell us how to do things
oh wait..
