/pol/ here. I know its a little early but I wanted to ask before shit hits the fan.
This is silly and kinda autistic but would you like to go to that winter ball with /pol/?

I know you know our reputation, and you take the heat for it. Just because /po/ kinda sounds like /pol/...so I don't blame you if you decline

IIRC, you can contact tunua directly to buy this model. Don't think anyone will be sharing it at the moment.

Anyone keep the PDF of this? It's gone from the original canon site and the file isn't distinctive enough to search for.

Paper
>>
Poverty tier: some sort of cardstock, 0.99 scissors, some sort of glue. cardstock is much better than printer paper, but may be expensive if you dont have any.
>>
Basic tier: a craft knife. You can make a cutting mat by gluing some sheets of paper together. i eventually bought a cutting mat for $1.50 at daiso. its nice.

>Long time no see /po/

Yeah, why so much time since the last visit ? i hope it's not because of the dragon joke.

Hey, / po /

How can we set the diagram level?

only the numbers of steps of the diagram?
or we can also take into consideration the more realistic finish?
therefore the realists always more difficult?

Is there a pattern to classify? Example:

Steps 01-10 = Easy
Steps 01-30 = Intermediate
Steps 01-50 = Hard
Steps 01-100 = Complex
Steps 01 - ...... = Super Complex

Or more classifications that these cited?

Anyway, I wonder whether to classify a diagram or model, would use a critical sense and weigh those values. Rate only the steps of numbers? or evaluate the model in a general context?

Let me know of you, what do you think? / po /

>>
>>533251
The number of steps depends on the diagram, not the complexity of the model.
A CP, for example, is a one step diagram.
To correctly classify the complexity of a model you need to take into account how complex are the steps and how clear are the instructions in that particular diagram of that model. The way you make the diagrams can change the difficulty of the model.
>>
>>533251

The trouble is that after you figure how to fold something, it becomes simple in a manner of speaking.

I figure it's up to your discretion. I typically compare the model to other artists models and decide based on that. Who am I to argue difficulty with Kamiya?
>>
>>533251
I'd say pivots and open sinks are intermediate, while closed sinks and extensive layer rearranging would be hard. Spreads are kind of borderline, and sometimes even open sinks can be a bitch. Super complex usually involves some sort of autistic tesselation.
Otherwise there's not really any pattern, no. I wouldn't depend on steps too much.
