I don't understand what to do here. I initially thought it meant to reverse-fold the head, however this doesn't work.
This is from "Angel origami" by Nick Robinson.
Never mind, figured it out.
I like to make a special papercraft for Halloween each year, and this year I made Lara Croft skinned alive...
(sort of ;o)
Parts and instructions on my papercraft webpage: https://ninjatoes.wordpress.com/tag/halloween/
Happy Halloween and have fun building!
why is her head/neck completely fucking different?
everything else is with in the realm of believably for the most part.

I guess according to Natla, that's what a genetically engineered human-alien hybrid master race looks like? ;o)

A lot of people focus on an area of folding, e.g. insects, boxes or tesselation.
What is your favorite area and what get you into it? Also post favorite model. (this one is not folded by me)
I actually prefer things with some personality, many edges. Not too big on plane jane animal models unless they have some movement going on.
One of my favorite models is Satoshi Kamiya's Wizard.
Also do you have a link to that model anon?

It's Yoshihisa Kimuras fairy, I never found diagrams but there is a video

>>531189
Thanks mate I found it. Really nicely done model. It'll be cool to set on the desk.
May your folds be even and your edges crisp.
Why can't people post links instead of pictures. Sorry for being mad about such a little thing, but it just bugs me.
Also, I just Google image searched why to find my pic, the image name is irrelevant.
>why do people post pictures on an imageboard
>>531138
this, maybe you shoud go on a link-board
Please post here :( !
african elephant by shuki kato diagram please?
>>533063
You're probably going to have more luck over in the request thread.
>>533066
This board isn't a bunch of dicks like most boards.... we don't get a huge e-boner telling people "YOU CAN'T POST THAT HERE, IT AHS TO GO IN THE RIGHT PLACE, NO I'M NOT A MOD, BUT I HAVE NO LIFE SO I MUST TELL YOU WHAT TO DOOOOO"
What?
Can someone make a papercraft version of the you're special book that actually opens and has the pages and such? Kind of like ScannerJoe's Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy.
>>532233
I'd say google before asking, but i'm glad you asked. I found this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-Zkc-xh6Phk
there is a link in the description, it's a 19Mb PDF or I would post it here. Thanks for having a good idea, have fun making it I sure will

Cute kitty (ヽ´ω`)
in what way does a papercraft book with working pages differ from just straight up making a book?
Can someone draw a cutting lines to do this ? ;) PLS
>>531107
wouldn't most of the fun trying to make them by self?
>>531108
I was trying for 2 hours ;(
>>531109
Is 2 hours so much for a hobby you entitled little cunt?
Something about small origami just makes me feel good. Pic related, it's a little crane I folded out of a recipt and left in some flowers at work.
Another
made these today
Let's start a thread about preservation of papercraft and origami.
What have you tried with or without success?
So far I've just tried modpodge puzzle saver, works pretty good if the model doesn't have a lot of recesses, say a butterfly
>>533065
nice ! do you think it's possible to make an even and thin coating with some plastidip or something ? it looks good on that crane but on a more complex model it'll blur all the details, hence my question.
As for myself i don't do anything particular, just give them away (which often lead to quick deterioration...) or put them on a shelf.
>>533077
OP here, the picture isn't mine, grabbed it from some diy site. I never tried plastidip myself yet. Conserved a few tiny items in resin as a kid, but I don't even know what kind of resin we used there. Now I have a little assortment of origami I'd like to give away the next weeks, and wonder what's a cheap way to make them a little bit more sturdy.
Right now I'm waiting for some home-made coating made from potato starch, salt and a little sugar to cool down so I got bored.
Please, share diagram of you have it.

thank you very much sir! I must have missed this one :c
didn't noticed this earlier - head is completely different :/ do you have any clue how to fold this properly, cause this woman is doing it just wrong (in my opinion)
Hey /po/, I want into modular origami, but I don't know where to start...
Any good sites / books / models you would recommend ?
Bonus points for abstract models.
>>530220
This is all I have on modular origami. Hope you find something good among the not so large variety in my modular folder.

Wow thanks !
Love the woven polyhedras.
>>530222
A 13MB file is all you have? (not nagging, just asking nicely)
feeling like shit lately
meds not working, lonely as hell, etc., etc.
any depression-related stuff /po/?
like nooses and knives and whatever
also cat stuff would be cool (pic related)
>>533083
If folding can't make you happy, nothing can.
maybe change your life instead of spending it all the time on a chinese oragami paper board
>>533083
Find a grill, the real ones with boobs and all that shit.
That will help you with your loneliness and if at the end you broke with her, you have a excuse to finally commit sudoku and end with your misery.
Are any of you excited about your team?
Oh shit, we're playing /wg/ today.
We can do this.
We gotta believe.
it's 3-0

So I just bought the discovery pack from Origami-shop.com and I really like the high end papers they include, issue is, some of these papers I have NO CLUE what to do with. Like a 6 inch square of Kraft Alios? What is that even for? I'm a folder of high intermediate skill, but i'd hate to see these papers go to waste. Any model suggestions?
>>532561
try some kind of easy insect model ? like joe nakashima's hercules beetles for example.
>>532561
Alios is perfect for crumpling (think Paul Jakson & Vincent Floderer's work).
