Absolutely beginner here. Are there any good online tutorials around?

I would like to add Sara Adam's Youtube channel. She has recently stopped making videos, but she has enough material to keep you going for years to come. One thing I like about Sara that's not necessarily true for Tadashi Mori and Nakashima is that she tries all different kinds of origami instead of sticking to one mode, like birds or modular.
i want to try to make my own buildings for Malifaux and i heard world works games makes pretty good ones, anybody got experience with them? or could share one so i can try how it looks like with my old dusty printer.
Those buildings look good but consume a lot ink.
I do have the dead fall series from world works. and they were mad for Malifaux. I am a henchman in NC. and it's what i use for my events because how cost effect and versatile their sets are.

Have you had any experience with Terraclips?
Why has no one scanned the old Super Quick buildings, or the Metcalfe buildings? There seems to be a lack of papermodels for train layouts.

You can be the first, go ahead.

Anyone have any tips or tricks for solving crease patterns? I know the ability opens up a huge number of possibilities, but I just dont get it
You have to figure out the first reference folds to get started.
On the tardigrade example you posted, it's simply a 3x3 grid divided up further.
>>530543
So I fold the general grid/base beforehand and the guess mountain or valley with the rest of the lines?
Hi po, is anyone good at colouring? If so can somebody please color this Pokemon template:
http://www.legendarypokemon.net/other/downloads/regice.pdf
It's much appreciated!
Pic related, model is of regice.
do you want it like, a solid color thats close to ice or do you want a ice texture to it?
>>530374
A solid color as close to game accurate as it can be is fine. And don't forget the yellow eyes! For some reason the template has 2 sets.
Thank you! :3
>>530379
sorry bro the template loads buggy when i import it onto inkscape so i cant do it :( But from the look of the template and what i managed to work with, if you can install inkscape on your computer you can import the template yourself and color it. it wouldnt be too hard but does require a bit of knowledge
I've been looking to get into modeling classic brutalist buildings like pic related. Do any of you know of any kits that I could get started with?
Many thanks.

please just let it die and never come back

why not just assemble a bunch of cubes, plan where you want to stack them, and then cut slits in the cubes so they sit connected like OP pic
Do you guys have any tips for folding ones first "ungodly hard" model? I've been doing origami for about 3-4 years now, and I've had this book for 2. Every time I have tried to make the simplest model from it, I collapse around the 10th step. Pic related
Make sure you're accurate with the first few folds and take your time with setting up the base adequately. Thinner and sturdier paper helps a lot. What models in particular are you struggling with? The treehopper is fairly easy to do even for a casual folder, as is the grasshopper.
niggas need to get on they fold game
I found the scarab pretty easy. There is really only one tricky move where you have to reverse some pleating.
Hello there!
I am new to making pepakura and with that said, I dont know where to locate many designs without spending 100$ or more (not for lack of trying).
So I was wondering if any of you lovely people had some ideas as to where I could go. Most specifically I need to find Star Wars Storm or Clone Trooper Helmet/Armour designs (upcoming bachelor party, dont ask).
Also if you guys/gals have any other designs that you think are worth sharing, I'd love to see them and learn some of your techniques!
You should visit therpf forums :)
love this look dose anyone have more?

Why is this board so shitty?
>>529490
Why would you even bump when it was on the top of the first page?
Hi /po/ just folded this origami beetle. What do you think?
Not /po/ but that is slick as hell. Nice job.

Sometimes Google isn't always the right answer ya dumbass
I made a /tg/ thing about bikini barbarians and I made minis for it.
This is probably my most complicated papercraft thing that I've made (screwed around with my own designs a few times, didn't publish them) so I'm looking for critique. Thanks!
>>529237
I like the idea!
So they are 1" hight and 2/5" in diameter.
I'm missing the tabs on the bodies (pic).
Going to build some tomorrow.
>>529262
Yeah, those are the measurements.
The tab you added isn't necessary because there's a slight overlap at the back. I didn't feel precise enough to do it that way. I suppose adding one might make it easier, though.
