Hello guys! I'm the co-manager for /po/ in 4 chanc up.

For those of you who don't know what it is, consult with this page.

http://implyingrigged . info / wiki / FAQ

Remove spaces and all.

So the Spring Babby Cup is coming on April and I want to ask the board if we would want to make changes to the current roster as it has been a few months since the last roster change. Things probably have changed since then despite the whole slow board thing. So I will list our current roster.

Starting XI:

Cutting Mat
Sticky When?
Tacky Glue
pika pika
>Wintercruft
Broken Printer (Captain)
Template
Moneygami (Silver medal, an upgraded player given to the most important players of the team)
X-Acto (Silver medal)
Paper Plane (Gold medal, the maximum upgraded player, given to the most... most important player of the team)
1000 Cranes (Gold medal)

Bench:

Pepakura
No Progress
Big Head Mode
Thick Card Stock
PDO
Origami Books
Cubecraft
Weapons Thread
Graphig
Paper Stars
>>>/pol/
/ggt/

With this roster I feel like there's a lot of work to be done. Since we've been seeing many visitors from /pol/ recently maybe we could bump >>>/pol/ up to the first team or change it to be more friendly to /pol/. /ggt/ has been dead for a while, Weapons Thread as well, perhaps pika pika and Origami Books. However I am unsure as to who I would replace them with.

So this is exactly what this thread is for, I will ask the board if any of you lads have any ideas that would help the team represent this board better. Here is our team page.

http : //implyingrigged . info/ wiki //po/

Thank you in advance /po/ and I hope I don't fail you once again.

>pika pika

What the fuck? I have been here for a couple years, and other than that shitty thread that was bumped to dead, I see no reason or relation to this board, so I will suggest to remove it.
>>
>>537243
It was there when we last changed up the roster which was like about a few months ago. Any suggestions as to what to replace it with?
>>
>>537245
What about peak and valley fold?

Or alternatively, we could name them ... and ._._._. after the conventions founds on most of the origami and papercraft diagrams.

I'm trying to make some cool low poly animal heads as gifts and I was wondering if anyone has some cool looking ones

please take a look at the catalog before posting a new thread... there is a similar thread on the first page, you lazy ass fucker.
>>
>>537189

it'd be easier/better to make a paper knife and cut himself. if you fold it just right they'll work. I /know/ I saw an article about that somewhere recently...

Go ask on /po/
They're usually pretty gud at finding templates like these.

Also, I haven't done much research but does anyone know if there's anything else like this?

I added some walls around the outside. They look pretty nice being set away from the edge a bit (and it's more accurate), but it's a fucking pain in the ass to position it and size it right

I messed up the second page by flipping the wings the wrong way. The split wings can be quite troublesome. I've fixed the issue here.

I am looking for a few (for me) hard to find car models from the excellent Czech Magazing ABC that contained card models in their pages.

The 3 I am having trouble finding are listed:

Fiat Ritmo Abarth (Volume 23 published in 1978)
ABC Epsilon ( Miura Racing ) unsure...
Lotus Espirit (supposedly published in Volume 40 in 1995).

Images posted. Starting with the Epsilon.

Heh... not bad, kid. Not bad at all. Your meme, I mean. It's not bad. A good first attempt. It's plenty dank... I can tell it's got some thought behind it... lots of quotable material...
But memeing isn't all sunshine and rainbows, kid. You're skilled... that much I can tell. But do you have what it takes to be a Memester? To join those esteemed meme ranks? To call yourself a member of the Ruseman's Corps? Memeing takes talent, that much is true. But more than that it takes heart. The world-class Memesters - I mean the big guys, like Johnny Hammersticks and Billy Kuahana - they're out there day and night, burning the midnight meme-oil, working tirelessly to craft that next big meme.
And you know what, kid? 99 times out of a hundred, that new meme fails. Someone dismisses it as bait, or says it's "tryhard," or ignores it as they copy/paste the latest shitpost copypasta dreamt up by those sorry excuses for cut-rate memers over at reddit. The Meme Game is rough, kid, and I don't just mean the one you just lost :^). It's a rough business, and for every artisan meme you craft in your meme bakery, some cocksucker at 9gag has a picture of a duck or some shit that a million different Johnny No-Names will attach a milion different captions to. Chin up, kid. Don't get all mopey on me. You've got skill. You've got talent. You just need to show your drive.
See you on the boards...

This is me. Literally me. No other character can come close to relating to me like this. There is no way you can convince me this is not me. This character could not possibly be anymore me. It's me, and nobody can convince me otherwise. If anyone approached me on the topic of this not possibly being me, then I immediately shut them down with overwhelming evidence that this character is me. This character is me, it is indisputable. Why anyone would try to argue that this character is not me is beyond me. If you held two pictures of me and this character side by side, you'd see no difference. I can safely look at this character every day and say "Yup, that's me". I can practically see this character every time I look at myself in the mirror. I go outside and people stop me to comment how similar I look and act to this character. I chuckle softly as I'm assured everyday this character is me in every way. I can smile each time I get out of bed every morning knowing that I've found my identity with this character and I know my place in this world. It's really quite funny how similar this character is to me, it's almost like we're identical twins. When I first saw this character, I had an existential crisis. What if this character was the real me and I was the fictional being. What if this character actual became aware of my existence? Did this character have the ability to become self aware itself?

That rifle is also called the Hecate II or FRS 12.7 in real life. There are some 3D files that could possibly be made into papercrafts. That gun was also in Sword Art Online so there are a bunch of cosplayers and other fans making 3D models.
>>
use google
type "Hecate II papercraft"
you will find

Thank you

Hey there /po/,
My ancient piece of shit $20 HP printer has finally kicked the bucket. However, in a way, I suppose it's kind of fortuitous, because now I can get a printer that isn't a piece of shit and finally get into papercraft proper. I don't really know where to start looking, though, apart from the fact that a lot of people seem to prefer inkjets and printers that can accept heavier types of paper. I guess image quality is an important factor too. With that said, what do you guys use for your projects? Thanks in advance
4 posts and 1 images submitted.
>>
If you dismantle old printer you can get useful papercrafting tools. Rubber rollers and steel shafts mainly, but gears and springs too. If scanner, glass plate is good for lightbox. Recycle plastic and unwanted metal for maximum hippie.
>>
Cheapest printer with the cheapest ink refills that advertises itself as being able to print photos. That usually means you can force some pretty thick 200-300gsm paper through it. (basically all inkjets now in days anyway) Check data sheet if you're not sure.

If you care for double sided papercraft, can't help you there. Pretty much all affordable consumer printers have alignment issues
>>
>>537168
If you want to print in bulk, printers with factory continuous ink supply system are a great option if you can find them for cheap.
