Literally the only advantage is more clearance/forgiving suspension so you can probably ride over an obstacle in the road without dying more easily. But you could do this with a dirt bike/dual sport as well so like I said - no advantage.

Wait, what? Terrible for cornering? You can take corners faster than a sportbike. Also, you can definitely take them offroad. Thats half the fucking idea. They're also fun without having to triple the speed limit. You can crash them without having to pay hundreds in repairs every time. As for slow, go ride a 701 or 690 or a real 450 and call it slow you stupid inexperienced fucktard.

No they don't. This is a bad meme. They might corner on par with a sport bike on the road if you dump hundreds of dollars into the suspension but your typical fag just throws the wrong size wheel on there and thinks they're hot shit.
> you can definitely take them offroad
Sure you can but not nearly as well as even a lazy dual sport. I can take my CBR600 off road too.
>You can crash them without having to pay hundreds in repairs every time.
Yes this is nice but the same goes for dual sports and dirt bikes without meme wheels.

CA contributes far more to the Federal Government than it takes, around 78 cents on the dollar. Utah, for example, takes $1.07 from the Fed teat for every dollar in tax money sent. Ne Mexico takes $2.03. And so it goes.

To who? A 350lb supersport tumbling down the highway is pretty easy to avoid. Incidences where a single-vehicle motorcycle crash harms other vehicles are extremely rare. The rider also tumbling? Usually flattened in short order. Wheelie crashes in particular involve rear-ending things because you have no brakes and limited visibility.

And honestly, people doing wheelies are less likely to crash than ATGATT, two wheels on the ground, brake for every corner goobers who never thought to replace their chains and tires. Ever.

Hey there DBG, I'm thinking of buying a little suzuki a100. they're pretty rare here in my country and it needs next to no work besides cosmetic. that said i would do a proper check over of it once i got it.

Anyone got any critiques or tips before buying that could help me buy or not buy it? Besides

They're not that crappy, joke aside, a bit less fun than the 2005+ gs but oh well, to each its budget i guess.

Basically they're really good at making you dump money on them, like harleys, but fast

So I went for a ride yesterday because I can't take to just leave my new bike there for 3 months and the perforated gloves made me die of cold.

I'm thinking of using these under the gloves, have you any experience, any reason why it's a bad idea that I'm missing? Apart from sweating profusely.
>>
>>16165304
there are plenty 94-98 ones, some freshly TÜVed for 1,8-2k
also one for 2k with big service done which I think includes valves.
I'll do some research on them

>>16165311
yeah from what I've herad they're a bitch to work on, I wonder if it's the same for the 90s ones.

also th VX800 is shaft-driven, should I be worried?

MRA Vario touring screen which no one seems to sell in North America outside eBay.
Vented screens like the Airflow work really well in my experience. My last bike had a madstad and while it didn't look great it was definitely worthwhile in fixing turbulence issues

You'll sweat and then it'll get colder than if you didn't do that. Get some thin cloth gloves and wear them under your regular ones until you get some rainrpoof ones.

>when you go so slow the world moves around you

I don't think you understand, I'm going in less than 2 hours, don't have any "thin cloth" gloves.

Why would it get colder if I keep riding with them on?

>don't have any "thin cloth" gloves.
Get some from a gas station.

>Why would it get colder?
Because you'll sweat in the bag. And then the cold air hits the sweat, which makes shit really bad. You're better off just dealing with cold fingers than dealing with wet cold fingers.

>>16165337
muh 0 degrees of lean angle
>>
>>16165329
The only thing that could bother me is the amount of buttons on the handlebars.
I had enough trouble understanding that blinkers are on each side of the handlebars on my gs(not on the newer models anymore)
>>
>>16165348
>dealing with cold fingers
>cold fingers
lol
I couldn't feel my hands anymore after some time, they felt like wood and had no sensibility whatsoever. Had to stop multiple times.

>And then the cold air hits the sweat
How can that happen if I don't remove them? I don't understand.
>>
>>16165355
Just because it's in a bag doesn't mean it's not gonna evaporate.

>>16165361

My exhaust pipes are internally coated with soot and I want to get around to cleaning them. Any tips on getting it all out?

Also is getting a correct exhaust gasket worth it or can I just rig something up to keep it from leaking? I'm not too fussed and an exhaust leak or 2 isnt going to damage me.
>>
>>16165355
Put the plastic over your existing gloves and/or go to a 24h store like Walmart and get something resembling proper gloves if its nighttime where you are. Then go buy real winter gloves when the gear stores are open.

I really liked the old signals on each side 2bh.
You're right in thinking the left hand side is super busy with all the controls for the electronic aids and GPS shit.

One thing I do like though is that the high beam controls are on the backside so you only need to use your pointing finger to modulate it.

Interesting to that there would be another button also if you had the day light installed but that's also not available outside of yurop.
>>
I took my Suzuki DR-Z400SM (with Dunlop Sportmax Q3 tires) off road tonight and it handled fantastically. It was a great time.
>>
>>16165379
Not gonna buy winter gloves for 1 or 2 weeks of riding.
If I put that shit on my gloves I might have problems handling the bike, don't wanna risk, I have no experience.
