thoughts?
Where are all the threads about this? It's fucking incredible.
uh-huh
seriously though the movement from Killing Time to the Governor is the best thing this year
>>68151897
link?

>>68131533
what a fun thread
>>68152300
It's dead, nigger. That's why he made a new one
This list is shit, but I'm rolling anyway
>>68152353
>but I'm rolling anyway
I hope you deliver tho
unlike the 143 anons in the other thread who rolled but didn't post shit
that's why I replied in first place
How do you feel this Friday?
Nervous as fuck because I have to take a driver's license test and I didn't study.
>>68151828
Empty because I miss Harambe.
I didn't even know it was friday, time seems weird when you don't leave your house
Name one (1) album that sounds like 22 A Million
hard mode: no yeezus
>>68151744
age of adz
>>68151744
Seriously...Give me 3 legit reasons why 22 sounds like Yeezus?
Help me make a bigger chart to get more people into this genre. I mostly included dancier cuts rather than more experimental albums like Vanity Records albums, Esplendor Geometrico or Monoton. You guys do listen to this music...right?
>>68151635
What's the difference between the two?
>>68151665
Not much really, but some people prefer to call less poppy minimal albums Minimal Synth.
>>68151665
wave is just a retrospective term assigned to synthpop/synth-heavy post-punk music that was stripped-down or sparse compared to other works in the genre, minimal synth takes that to the extreme and eschews things like complexity in songwriting or structure in favor of pure synth
any good minimal releases this year? i've been looking through a lot of EPs and couldn't find anything that great
Only the comfiest of music ITT lads. I'll start

Every time I hear this I want to snuggle up with some hot coco

¿What do u think about these genius?
PD: They are da $uicideboy$
I love suicideboys so much
is this like 21 pilots or something?
>>68151443
No, it's even worse.
Do they actually think they look cool or are they just being wacky
They think they look edgy like neckbeards think they look edgy, though a lot other Black Metallers (like Immortal) did it purely for a lark
>>68151270
They're just tryin to make panties wet, OP.
the one on our right was in it for the lolz
What is some more music similar to this song? I heard it recently, and now I'm hooked. What are your favourite uplifting 80s synthpop songs, when you're feeling in a good mood?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_6FBfAQ-NDE
>>68150883
New Order 80s albums
Power Corruption & Lies and Low-Life pretty much fit in the synthpop scene, besides the singles compilation
Tears for fears - Songs from the Big Chair
and other stuff they put out.
https://youtu.be/SFsHSHE-iJQ
Most people have heard the Gary jules ver.
>>68150883
nowhere girl is more melancholic, but it's still great and a classic
vince clarke was producer and keyboard player for depeche mode at the time of recording speak & spell (and just can't get enough), but he left after and eventually formed yazoo with alison moyet. if you're looking for "uplifting" stuff like early DM, they would be a perfect fit for you
for pure singles power i would suggest:
>enola gay by OMD
>goodbye horses by q lazzarus
>fade to grey by visage
>take me i'm yours by squeeze
>pull up to the bumper by grace jones
>opportunities by pet shop boys
>open your heart by human league
>anything by early tears for fears
>pretty much any new order singles comp
Anybody listening to this since it dropped today?
My AOTY so far, beats atrocity exhibition by a long shot
better not post here, you'll attract the "real metalheads" who don't like it when distorted guitars have reverb and when chicks scream.
but yea, my aotysf too. beats neurosis by a margin
I like fake metal
I liked it but idk, listening to this made me want to listen to sunbather again which made me just go back to listening to a lot of alcest
It was good but not gripping I guess
When will Death Grips finally influence people?
People on /mu/ claimed Yeezus was heavily inspired by TMS, although I don't know if Kanye has ever mentioned DG.
Bowie outright said that DG were one of his influences while working on Blackstar.
>>68150795
they influenced bowie to kill himself

>Pleb filter
Yeah, apparently it is. The fact that you think its a "pleb filter" rather than just a run of the mill good song.... shows how new you are to music.
>OMG FAST BASS DRUM, PLEBS JUST DON'T UNDERSTAND
>pleb filter is the last track
wow, nice pleb filter
>>68150708
Great point. OP getting BTFO so far.
OP wanna post an actual pleb filter thats within the first 3-4 songs of the album?
Hi /mu/, first timer here so apologies if this is a dumb question. If I'm trying to make a Pandora station with stuff like
https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=bcnj9btzcm8
where would I start? Plugging in "electric swing" or "electro swing" doesn't get me anywhere it seems. Any recommendations?
Don't use Pandora
Pandora is good if you're in middle school
Same with electroswing
Is this b8?
Who actually likes electro swing?
Opinions?
I quite liked it
7/10
It has Charli
>>68150490
I know this is a shit criticism, but I just thought it was boring. I really expected at least the Sirius track to be good... it wasn't
