Montie please kill yourself. I'm dead fucking serious. You contribute nothing to this board. Nobody likes you being here, nor do we find you funny. Any "memes" you post, you drive them into the fucking ground expecting that to make them funnier when all it does it turn them annoying. The memes that you DO post are either already established memes that were once funny, but you drive into the ground, making them unfunny (Nutshack, We Are Number One) and anything you create yourself is fucking terrible and never WILL be funny (Duckposting, Posercore). Your taste is abysmally garbage and basic, you think you're better than everyone else, you unironically think the people of Flint are at fault for having contaminated water and you fucking LIVE in Michigan, and worst of all, you somehow think Mr Bungle is worse than Nickelback
Kill yourself. Actually die. Please stop posting here and just die.

Souvlaki is incredible but I prefer Pygmalion. Murmur and Fare Forward are good, not a fan of the rest

Kate Bush is great, I need to listen to The Dreaming still. Talk Talk is also pretty good as is Pavement and the Kinks.
I still need to listen to more New Pornographers and The United States of America

LOOK AT THIS NET
Post good psychedelic/stoner albums, it can be rock, meta, trance, psybient, whatever.
Just discovered this literal hidden gem, pretty amazing
bump
This isn't really psychedelic, but has this cosmic feel to it that I really adore. If anyone knows similar bands or albums, please let me know.
do we all agree that dream pop and shoegaze is a offshoot or psychedelic music
say opinions the vast majority of /mu/ disagrees with you on
>Centipede Hz is an underappreciated gem and has more liveliness and energy than the dull wreck that is MPP. CHz is the best Animal Collective album in the sense of them working together as a band
/mu/ is a place to discuss and enjoy music in mature, tolerant and well-informed terms.
Music really isn't that deep
ICP is not that bad
Anyone sold on their AOTY yet? There's a couple that are pretty big on my potential list.
Pic related.
well it's certainly not TLOP

CAROLIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIINE
One year ago today, Grimes's fourth LP was released. The electropop/dance album bitterly divided /mu/: you either loved it to death, or you despised it. The album was lauded by pundits, with most of them naming it among the best releases of the year. Averaging an average score of 8.8 out of 10, Art Angels was the critical darling of 2015, making the Top 50 in Paste and Spin; cruising into the Top 5 in The A.V. Club, Billboard, Consequence of Sound, Fact, The New York Times, Pitchfork, Rolling Stone, and Slant; and garnering the Album of the Year honors from Exclaim!, NME, and Stereogum. Featuring singles such as Realiti, Flesh without Blood, Kill V. Maim, and California, Art Angels gave Grimes her highest-charting album to date in the United States, peaking at 36 on the Billboard 200, while reaching number 2 on the Independent Albums chart and topping the Alternative Albums chart. Art Angels also hit 30 in Australia, 31 in the UK, and 16 in Boucher's native Canada. Produced almost entirely in Ableton Live, Art Angels represented a departure from the Bandcamp bedroom pop of her past and opened the door to the mainstream for Grimes, who was asked to make a song for the soundtrack for Suicide Squad and invited to curate NBA 2K16. Love it or hate it, Art Angels massively impacted the indie world in 2016.
A year later, what are /mu/'s thoughts on this now?

Okay can you guys break kayfabe for just a second and just admit that this is all a meme? How on earth does her music stand out over all the other indie pop music? Why Grimes? It just has to be a meme, it has to be ironic or even several layers of post-ironic.
