Well I Wonder is their BEST song
how could anybody disagree
Well let's see. How Soon Is Now, Hand in Glove, Ask, This Charming Man, and Reel Around the Fountain all exist so I could see a multitude of reasons why someone would disagree with your shitty opinion.
Well I wonder is an amazing song, my favorite
i'm a fan of This Night Has Opened My Eyes

a woman who is wearing fishnets. Or an extremely flamboyant man
So let's say he can't take it anymore. The Bitch is getting to him, the kid won't shut the fuck up, and people hate him.
What would be the best way for him to off himself?
jumping out the window, letting everything go
he wont kill himself he'll just go live in the ocean because he's a gay fish
Hang himself by a stereo cable. A metaphor for the search for the perfect sound finally killing him.
What does /mu/ think of this album?
The only half decent album he ever released. Everything else was shit. No exceptions.

The best thing Eminem has ever done.
The title track is genuinely 10/10, the rest of the album is 8/10.

F#
Everthing I write is in F#...until the song comes together, then I move it so all my songs don't sound the same lol
>>69208822
Probs 7th fret, 5th string. Can play with the root and 5th easily, and can access the harmonic minor scale. Also, 7th chords. Double also, super power chord with the low E lol

Stop right there, and don't listen to Herbie Hancock. Jews are far better at jazz than blacks. Take for example,

Albums that make you feel safe inside
Most music makes me anxious, but Boards of Canada makes me feel comfortable in nostalgia and safe.
Except for Geogaddi, that album isn't human.
>>69208705
yea geogaddi was my first BoC album and going back to listen to it is really odd
>>69208705
Geogaddi makes me uncomfortable as fuck. Some tracks on that album are just really creepy and awful.
>most punks in the US are green haired tumblr girls who wear Doc Martens and Unknown Pleasures shirts, or their nu-male counterparts
>most of them probably voted for Jill Stein or Hillary
>Hillary represented big government, and was literally owned by Wall Street and the 1%
>Trump offered a political revolution
>overthrow the corrupt government
>say whatever the fuck he wants and not care if it offends people
>his entire campaign was a middle finger to the elites
Trump was the most punk rock candidate of all time. Modern day "punks" would call you a racist cis white male for voting for him. When did punks become pro-establishment?
Sorry, this is a music board

Joey Ramone was a republican. He hated hippies, and hated communism.
nothing more anti-establishment than voting for a billionaire

Anyone have a music degree? Do you earn a living in the music industry with it? Do you recommend it?
I'm 30 years old and gave up on college when I was younger. Over the years I've taken community college classes here and there along the way and every now and then I get the urge to attend college to finish a degree (I'm somewhere in my Sophmore year, credit-wise). But the problem I always run into is motivation. I've tried to push through with business and IT degrees, but I lose motivation pretty quick because I'm not really interested in these majors (the company I work for wants me to get these degrees as it would open up avenues within my current employer, which means higher pay for me).
But as of right now, as a 30 year old, non-degreed anon, I'm in a job that pays me roughly 60k a year doing a desk job that I hate. I'm not really going to find equal or better pay doing much else without finishing a degree, but I worry that the only way I will ever finish a degree is if I'm passionate about the major. That would be music. I've played and "composed" music my whole life and music is my number one passion. I can read music and I've spent the last ten years or so screwing around within my personal amateur studio making recordings and composing using typical DAW's and all that. I have a decent grasp on music theory also. I'm experienced on piano, although guitar is my main instrument.
So I'm looking to get out of my industry and that means first getting a degree. And I'm thinking that if I get a music degree, then at the very least if I never get a job in the music industry I'll still be better off because then at least I'll have a BA on my resume. And I can always get another desk job.
I'm currently looking at BA in music/media which would be sound engineering/recording/production. That sounds like a legit, useful degree (as far as music goes, i guess)
Any advice?
Don't do it.
Useless qualification
I would say at 30 years old you should have more sense then to take a degree that would never land you anywhere but then again you seem to be doing well. I rejected music school because I know where I live I wouldn't make it anywhere so I resorted to something that actually pay bills.
Music is a personal journey though, you are always learning throughout your life, there isn't a need to rush through.
Of course getting into college accelerates that whole process and if you are really passionate about it and you have fully planned out your path and taken care of the worst case scenario, then why not.

my friend got a ba for music
>Do you earn a living in the music industry with it?
no he lives with his parents and does odd jobs
>Do you recommend it?

imo you're better off getting an studio/art history or even psychology degree if you wanna go that route
