Vinyl is inferior by every practical measure.

but the art work is big and looks way cooler. Also collecting physical copies of music is fun and enjoyable, why not make them bigger and why not make the sound quality more customizable

Preferably something fictional and not biographic/doco
Something like:

Inside Llewyn Davis
Whiplash
Death in Venice

He's about to star in the best film of the year too: rouge one.

Coloring Book is the best album of the year, but Awaken, My Love! was certainly a strong contender.
can't stand looking at that grass
Hi, first time poster. Just heard about this place. Heard you guys were into legit music, some of the lesser known stuff. That's cool. Just wanted to drop in.
It'll be nice to talk to people about actual fucking music for a change, you know? Music that was performed on instruments by people who put their heart and soul into it. Real pathfinders and entrepreneurs. Music these days is too processed, soulless and sounds way too much alike.
I really don't get it. Can't people see that it's not art? Or do they enjoy being placated and talked down to. Kids these days will buy up shit, the smellier the better, and do it proudly. I bet if you asked they couldn't even name a rock album.
Anyway, Machine Head by Deep Purple is my favourite album. Super intense hard rock from the early 70s. What's yours?
Dad, what are you doing on the internet again?
please stop

"could"? what did i do wrong
I've been listening to both Worry and We Cool a lot the past few weeks and I was wondering what other bands I should look into. I tried listening to Bomb the Music Industry! and some of the other bands on the Quote Unquote record label, but I don't really like how shitty the recording quality on some of them seem.
A few different styles
Offhand I'd compare songs like Allison to Descendents songs like Clean Sheets
Also Born Against song Janelle comes to mind although not especially similar but I'm a huge fan
I Look Like Shit is so close to a 10/10 for me. I love Jeff

I don't think it's hard to argue that most "experimental hip-hop" isn't really all that experimental. I mean, I'm glad you have guys like Danny Brown and out stuff like Atrocity Exhibition where the beats are a little bit weirder but I really like to hear groups like Shabazz Palaces who mess around with song structures and even venture out into some time signatures other than 4/4, or Death Grips who incorporate cool sampling techniques on NOTM, or even clipping. who, despite often coming off as pretty corny, at least tried to implement harsh noise in a hip-hop context and also mess around with some fun sampling techniques. Can you guys rec me anything like them, not necessarily sonically, but with regard to genuinely trying to push the envelope?

Is there a name for that water-y effect of Any Colour You Like's guitar?
What are some more songs that have it?
Delay
I dunno countless although the entire genre of surf is built around although it's more specifically reverb. I imagine a lot of songs have moments they go over the top though.
I think it's the chorus mode of a Univibe with high Rate. Great sound, can't think of any other songs with it. Other anon was talking about spring reverb drip.
