>I don't want no scrub, a scrub is a guy who can't get no love from me
how the fuck is this okay? it's literally bullying and it makes me feel like shit every time the song comes on
t. scrub
Agreed, the lyrics seem pretty obnoxious.
>>70730203
>A scrub is a guy that thinks he's fly
>And is also known as a buster
>Always talkin' about what he wants
>And just sits on his broke ass
>So (no)
Shoo, scrub
I need some shoegaze/dream pop that's about 75% rock instruments and 25% electronics.

If you're into Aphex Twin your best bet will be searching for breakbeat, ambient and IDM artists.
Give Burial and Four Tet a try

Whos ruth?
Styx's "Come Sail Away" is the single worst thing ever put to music
>>70729923
Had never heard the song other than cartman singing it in 90s southpark and it's actually pretty smooth.
Also please refrain from posting nu simpsons, there are literally millions of hilarious simpsons reaction pics you can post from when it was good and you have to aggravate me with that disgusting bullshit.

I always wondered, how much music do you guys have in your libraries anyway? Because I've seen huge libraries where people just horde and don't get to something for 2 years, and smaller tighter collections where they've heard all or the vast majority of it. Where do you stand?
I have 670 albums and have heard 95% of it.
I download 2 or 3 albums a day and listen to all of them. I lost my data a few months ago so I have <300 still.
>Digitally
193 albums, listened to all of them
>Physical
About 300 albums on vinyl, only listened to about half.
I have around 200 digital albums. I find it gets difficult to manage after it gets bigger than that
What are some bands that didn't carry over into the newer generations well at all. So shit only dad's listen to.
Ex. Led Zeppelin may be "dad rock" but you'll still find le wrong generation kids listening to them.
>>70729722
all of the shittiest dadrock

90's was a terrible decade.
Prove me wrong ITT.
>>70729473
you were probably born in the 90s so yeah it was terrible
>>70729500
chekt and rekt
I could see how somebody who ignores alternative rock and hip hop might say that but the 90s was full of great music
The only good song is 15 Step.
Also Disk 2 is better in every way.

Listen to Jigsaw Falling into Place again
>>70729426
15 Step is the worst track...
/mu/ used to be all right
what happened?
What does /mu/ think of Tame Impala?
/mu/ hates them for "selling out" and being mainstream normie music even though they were beloved before the car commercial.
Personally I think they're (he's) super. Like our generation's Floyd/Radiohead. No one in rock is doing anything half as interesting. Sure, Currents was a misstep but Kevin isn't going anywhere.
Tame Impala is to psychedelia as DragonForce is to power metal
innerspeaker and lonerism are very good
problem comes with the fanbase, who have never listened to any psychedelic music before tame impala, and think that they're cool and unique for liking such a "weird" band
Currents is fucking shit, though
>We are the new Americana
>Raised on Biggie and Nirvana
>Singer was born after Cobain died
>Probably wouldn't have been conscious of music until at least 97/98
>Probably didn't even start enjoying music and forming taste until early 2000s
Why do millennials want to be 90s kids so bad?
what in tarnation
>>70729288
That was maybe the point of her lyrics though, references to 90's nostalgia that are so common among milennials.
Of course, even if it was her intention to add lyrical depth, it doesn't matter because that song is melodically dull and soulless anyway
what in tarnation
