Like what Tool does with 90% of their albums
Just stuff that makes it so much better having it physical than digital, y'know? even if it is a slightly cooler digipak or vinyl-sleeve cover
Any genre is accepted

I always thought that packaging was tacky.
Pink Floyd-Pulse
Blackstar

lots of records.
zeppelin 3 had a wheel inside that moved
in through the out door had an inner sleeve that was black and white but when water spilled on it, it changed color.
Why is that everyone else has such obscure musical taste? Whenever there's a thread of anons sharing their song library I don't recognize a single song.
Am I just a normie when it comes to music?
>>70734341
If your favorite band is: Beatles, Beach Boys, Led Zeppelin, Nirvana, Les Rallizes Denudes, Pink Floyd, Metallica, Tool, Doors, Radiohead, Stones, Sabbath, or Queen... yes you are a normie and would be better suited for r/music
>>70734392
That sounds like something someone from r/music would say in an attempt to fit in.
This album has the best guitar work I've ever heard. Thoughts on it overall?
>tfw Hangar 18 comes on
>listening to guitar music
All sick except for Dawn Patrol
Seriously what the fuck
>>70734249
beer snobs are worse than music snobs imo
>drinking anything other than steel reserve
fucking normies
beer is for people who don't have the palate to drink wine
Does /mu/ have a favorite song or genre of music to have sex to? I personally enjoy I ejaculate fire but my wife doesn't.

feild recordings of my gf gasping/moaning
lost my virginity to this album; things got heavy with her during "Godsend" (9:30 of quiet jangle-core). Looking back it was pretty hipstery, but pretty nice.
>>70733944
>tfw still a virgin
post-rock
/mu/'s honest opinion on Lana del XL?
she makes decent pop music imo.
really good really good
I'm glad she got big(lol) in the recent years
>>70733925
love fat lana but her music is mostly pretty boring
>>70733986
her singles are boring, but the songs on her albums are decent and more upbeat
lana really fucking annoys me actually. she's selling a brand and an aesthetic way more than she's actually doing anything interesting musically. like she's not transgressive in literally any way, but she and her fans really seem to view her that way. like singing about wanting to fuck daddy and being a bad girl is not edgy, or at least not in a remotely interesting way. and there's just no passion in her music, and her lyrics are GARBAGE. her lyrics are so bad. and lyrics are really important to me as far as music I like, so i can't really forgive her for that.
this is as restrained an opinion as i am capable of providing on lana. she is a poor quality version of what halsey is trying to be.

/mu/, can we have a discussion on punk, like what makes truly good punk and some examples of it? I want to listen to good punk.
>>70733841
Easily the most unique punk record of the 80s & Glenn Danzig's crowning achievement. Thank me later, op.
>>70733841
Classic Oregon-core

Hey this is pretty good, not cringe at all.
>>70733840

PARADISE COMES AT A PRICE

>tfw there's really no other album that sounds like this out there.
>>70733882
That's not even on the original tracklist.
Mind you, it's GOAT muse track
He's dead

Max Hardcore looks younger than I remember
Tomorrow Never Knows,
European Son,
Interstellar Overdrive, or
Son of the Monster Magnet?
This is actually harder than I thought it would be
I'd say European Son though
Tomorrow Never Knows, without a doubt
>>70733638
Even though it's my least favorite album out of the four,
Interstellar Overdrive
What will Scaruffi rate this?
5.5
Screencap this
He gave Limp Bizkit a 7/10 so Limp Bizkit Jr. will probably get a 3

He's a very nice guy too. I've been chatting with him online a bit. He created a new album too, out just a couple days ago. He's already planning a new release with some exciting new elements
This was my favorite ds find of 2016
