Is Fook supposed to be the album title or the band?
Post the rapper you like the most and you're favorite song from them.
>Tech N9ne
>B.I.T.C.H
I was talking to a black chick the other day and she asked me if I was getting tickets to the tech n9ne show. I laughed because I thought she was joking and she didn't understand why I thought it was so funny.
>>70837569
>paying money to see a black guy talk fast over pre-recorded backing tracks that he didn't even make
You should have been the one laughing at her.

So, I wanna try Sonic Youth, but they're discography is so fucking big. Please tell what order I should listen to their studio albums in and/or which are worth/not worth listening to. Thank you.
Listen to
Sister
EVOL
Daydream Nation
Goo
Then check out either their earlier or later stuff depending on which ones you like most.

Okay, thanks
Post pictures and pretend that they're album covers. Decide the name and genre of the artist/band.
I'll start.
Godspeed You! Black Emperor

>>70836744
which one?
Albums that turned out sadder than you thought that they would be
This always puts me in a good mood when I'm feeling down. What are you talking about?
>>70836585
Yea the melodies are happy and sound upbeat but a lot of the lyrics are about being alone and attempting to nullify that
>The Mollusk
So this is obviously the album of the decade, right?
I hope it isn't in dispute
It reminds me of The Magic Mountain by Thomas Mann. Comfy
great album. not sure when it it was recorded though. released, yes, but recorded no.
>>70836647
Released is usually what dictates it
I'll start.
>"You Can't Spell Slaughter Without Laughter" - ISMFOF
>>70836490
astral rejection is underrated af. super experimental in like 3 different genres
>>70836549
Don't get me wrong, I really like AS, but there are a fair amount of throw away tracks. On YCSSWL, all of em are good-great. Songs like "Erectangles" are easily forgotten. Everything since AS has been pretty much garbage imo.
nabil left and it all went to shit
Does she have any good albums?
All of them.
Born This Way is a solid album, far from perfect but at least 60% of it is great and rarely falls below the median.
Fame/Fame Monster are good if thin-sounding and evanescent (mostly in regard to the Fame proper, Fame Monster just has better songs period).
Artpop is a failed experiment whose songs aren't altogether bad, but its peaks aren't really very high.
Joanne is tasteful and pleasing but generally boring.
Her album with Tony Bennett, Cheek to Cheek, is quite good.
Fame/Fame Monster is the most influential pop record in terms of the mainstream pop trend this decade (a modernized style of electro pop.) I think in a way, she's also indirectly responsible because of that release for a wider acceptance of that mainstream EDM junk as well.
>Slint made Spiderland when they were 19-20 years old
>you're older than that and still haven't done anything with your life
Why do all their pictures keep getting photobombed by a Chinese tourist? Weird.
>one of the most important albums of the 90's was done by kids
How

But I'm 18.
