IDK but the Joy Villa thread was deleted.
Guess there's only one mod-approved political view on /mu/, even if you're discussing a promotional stunt more than the politics behind it.

It just put in the same values a lot more times.
Since it will not magically generate more information.
Don't do it, waste of time and space.
>Is there a loss of quality?
Yeah. It's probably imperceptibly small, but do it a million times and it will be audible

ITT: God tier electronic albums
The fact that so many /mu/tants still use the term ''electronic music'' only tells you how far /mu/ still is from becoming a serious music board. Europeans have long recognized that their is no similarity between all the genres lumped together except for the plug attached to some of the instruments yet /mu/ still persists. Good music boards rank the highly different genres and their subgenres yet /mu/ still calls them all elelctronic. /mu/ is still blinded by rockism: it all ''sounds the same'' and the instruments have plugs (not true, by the way), therefore it must all be the same genre. Europeans grow up listening to a lot of ''electronically produced'' music of the past, other boards grow up listening to a lot of ''electronically produced'' music of the past. /mu/tants are often totally ignorant of the ''electronically produced'' music of the past or anything past rock, they barely know the best sellers. No wonder they will think that ''electronic'' is a genre

neo-prog is shit that has rightfully been forgotten. the real progressive rock music of the 80s was post-punk
So give it to me straight. I'm pretty shitty with most instruments but I absolutely love to practice and record vocals. I have hundreds of vocal recordings of songs or song parts I like to work on as just a fun little hobby. Should I even consider it a talent? Probably shitty regardless but I find that lyrics and medleys come to me quite easily. Is being considered a skilled musician all about the instruments or can you just have a great mind for it?
Addition: I don't feel super comfortable posting anything I've worked on because I'm in the middle of a 5 class day and also I probably suck vocally and have just convinced myself I'm mildly adequate.
Depends on what your intentions are.
Everyone can do shit for shits and giggles, not all can or will be taken seriously by others, though, even if they're actually trying their best.
Also, you apparently just discovered the reason why bands exist: every member contributes their part to the final output.
>>70990462
Yea that's true. I'm a freshman at Uni right now and hardly know where to start in getting a band together. Also I find myself stressing that it's too late for me to actually continue with a reasonable success goal because I constantly compare myself to the lives of others. Like John Mayer for instance. The dude was like 19 or 20 when he won a Grammy and I am already 19. I know I can't just expect immense success but still.
