what is /mu/'s thoughts on panch season? Is it too vulgar, or do you find the satirical nature of it funny? I personally think its hilarious while still having a great rhythm. /mu/'s thoughts?

it was ok, but Pink Guy is better.
Overall, its good. There were couple songs that were nothing more than an excuse to say"pussy", and i think at times it was a little too juvenile for my tastes, but songs like Nickleodeon Girls and Meme Machine are enough for me to like it.
HER STORIES ARE BORING AND STUFF

Probably the worst album since Pet Sounds.
What's your favorite ECM release?
Mine's Holon by Nik Bärtsch's Ronin, this ECM release from 2008 puts a modern twist on the ideas of Eberhard Weber and Jan Garbarek, mixing jazz instrumentation with a minimalistic layered approach. Despite being a jazz album on paper, the heavy production and meticulous composition combined with the deficiency of improv elements means this record can only be described to those not versed with the ECM label as “groovy classical with jazz instruments”.
Pairing it’s minimalistic instrument lines with uncommon varied time signatures gives this a polyrhythmic feel at times, and sucks you in to it’s hypnotic phase shifting melody. The minimalism elements are handled well, allowing slow layered builds for tension and sudden relief as the melody is instantaneously stripped back to it’s root.
The drumming definitely comes off more post-rocky than jazzy, but compliments the atmosphere well and is varied in technique and approach. The other instruments are almost always playing patterns, so the variation in harmony comes from layer splicing or occasional outlying instruments, which may be improvised, or composed to sound improvised. The layering and production is incredibly pleasing to listen to, and each song is unique and memorable on it’s own.
It’s really all about the gnarly bass lines on this. Recommended.

cucks with a bbc fetish trying to justify their love of mediocre` "woke poc" music
>>70993932
Sounds like a lot of projection, my dude.
>>70993948
Sounds like it describes you and struck a nerve so you resort to generic retorts, my dude
Well, that was boring
>>70993874
Had to listen to it 4 times to settle on Ontario and Figures being the only worthwhile songs
>>70993990
ikr, the album itself is way too bland, there's only a few songs that stand out from the rest. The North Borders was way better.
dece homework-tier
Did you laugh the first time you heard the hipster redneck scream 'I LOVE YOU JESUS CHURIST'?
