When someone on here said "nice taste"
When I realized everyone else's taste is shit
when i thought radiohead music is shit
I was at this party (I know) and my friends were having control of what was being played and they were mostly playing country or Nirvana or Alice in Chains and the general atmosphere of the party was kind of sour but then I sneakily ran over to the iHome and put on a legit random ass Jungle track from the 90s and everyone started dancing
I knew from then on my taste in music was genuinely powerful
around 2002 when I was listening to The Rolling Stones instead of Linkin Park

When I realized nobody has ever liked anything I put on, recommended, or mentioned, I concluded it's because I was just too patrician.
