half of the answer is that it was one album that broke /mu/ forever. before the indiefags swept through, /mu/ was mostly breakcore/AMV/remixes and mashups. ITAOTS was one of the few albums that the indiefriends pushed so hard that it broke what little collective consciousness there was, and permeated board culture until 2012 or so; since existing mostly for referential purposes.

is it just me or is the mixing really shitty on this album?
I can't understand what the singer is saying half the time
I may or may not be rocking a $20 pair of earphones, but i could make out the lyrics on all the other albums just fine
It's just a shitty album in general. They've become too experimental, I think. (This coming from someone that found hidden gems among Hail to the King like Coming Home and Doing Time)
>>71185934
They're a shitty band, did you expect anything but shit from them?
