The logical conclusion to rock music
What are some albums that insane people would listen to, or albums made by insane people? Not necessarily really edgy stuff but also music that sounds absurd.

Who is your favorite guitarist & why is it Jimi Hendrix?
I knew a guy who bought a Jimi Hendrix shirt thinking it was Prince once
Bootsy Collins

Nigga, I AM Jimi Hendrix
ITT we post overrated artists
every pop artist
every 2010s artist
Either/Or came out 20 years ago today. Thoughts on the album and the music of Elliott Smith?
Nothing to do with Either/Or, but King's Crossing my be my favourite ever song.
Doesn't /mu/ like Elliott?
https://soundcloud.com/killrockstars/b3-i-figured-you-out-2444
Either/Or is one of my favorites. I ordered the anniversary edition LP when i heard this song
itt: music for normies that think they are alternative
Not all the top fans are normies, but a there are a lot of normies listening to this to say: "look at me! I am alternative!"

all 90's grunge
ITT: albums that are only disliked by people uneducated in music theory
>>71244187
you first, OP
>>71244187
I'm pretty uneducated in music theory (i only know the basics) and this is still one of my favorite albums ever

You know it's really a shame I'm not allowed to drive a car, considering I'm not a mechanic. Anyhow, saged retard.
So, why don't you have perfect pitch yet?
so i can laugh at you fags complain when something has chorus in it
You kinda have to be born with it.
In hindsight I realized I've had it all my life. As a kid I would get annoyed when classmates didn't quote TV shows with the proper tone and cadence. It eventually developed into faster memorization of music and other benefits.
The only person I know that has perfect pitch is a pretentious fuck that listens exclusively to classical music and believes that all music since WWII (except sometimes The Beatles) is utter shit.
EPIC SAX GUY returns to Eurovision!
No joke, they actually just chose this!

This guy is a legend
watching the Eurovision stream with /mu/ was my highlight of 2016
we are going to do that again right?

Why do people act like Pablo Honey is the Phantom Menace of Radiohead or something? Like it's this huge embarrassment that we're not even supposed to acknowledge. It's on the same level as The Bends, imho. It doesn't have the genre-transcending ambition that they later became known for, but you can't expect every album to have that. For what it is, which is a Dinosaur Jr/Smiths rip off, it's good. I'd rather listen to Pablo Honey than A Moon Shaped Pool, to be honest, which was underwhelming to me. And it's nice to mix their early shit in when you're listening to Radiohead, it makes their later progression even more impressive. But even hardcore Radiohead fans seem to overlook it automatically. Why?
disliking pablo honey is just a meme
it's like saying navi is annoying in oot. no one screams at their television for her to shut up, but we like to pretend we do
because its fun pop music and the short funny eye man has grown to hate anything fun
>>71243608
Is it really just a meme though when it's an opinion espoused by 99% of people
Discuss the awfulness of this talentless hack.

Holy shit I need more
THICC > Normal > STICC > MOBY DICC
2007 /mu/ wasn't kidding about this.
I didn't get it then but now I feel enlightened, pedantic and superior to the rest of the world.
>>71242867
Great album, but then again I just have a boner for everything tool does.
>>71242867
congratulations, that makes you a tool.
>>71242867
If you feel superior for liking lateralus, you're kind of douche.
Jesus Christ this is just awful. 75 straight minutes of cringe worthy ballads and pseudo intellectual rambling. What a complete fucking hack. Has anyone on here enjoyed this thing? Fucking pleb if you do desu.

Congrats!
In a matter of 5 short sentences you managed to use:

Should phone-posters be gassed to oblivion?
>>71242274
It's a 7/10 for me. Can see why ppl might rate it higher. But lots of the topics he sings about are old news to me. Love the instrumental choices. The ballads get old very fast
Enjoying the new skm more tho
post the first rap lyric that comes to mind
