Either/Or came out 20 years ago today. Thoughts on the album and the music of Elliott Smith?
Nothing to do with Either/Or, but King's Crossing my be my favourite ever song.
Doesn't /mu/ like Elliott?

Either/Or is one of my favorites. I ordered the anniversary edition LP when i heard this song
I like s/t and figure 8 more but all of his albums except new moon are very good

I don't think New Moon is bad at all, but it really shouldn't be thought of as an album. It's pretty much odds&ends that they put together for release. It does have some pretty good tracks on it though.
How popular was this guy in his heyday?

Amazing album, one of my all-time favourites. not flawless, but still a 10/10 for me.
Angeles is probably best track.
and i've only listened to his first 4 albums, they all were great.
Either/or > XO >> Roman Candle >= s/t
