I don't get it. How is this original music?
it isn't
The idea of taking the samples and cutting them up/looping them over/adding a concept to them is original
Name another album that delivers the idea of Alzheimer's patients feelings as well as this album does

Good day /mu/. I don't browse here often, so sorry if I should've done something different with this thread. I've been listening to The Antlers' Hospice album again, and I get captured very easily by how haunting it is, how the words mix well with the music and give you a raw emotional feeling that seems to convey what the author is going through in the album.
It's very rare for me to appreciate music to this level, although I tend to listen to all kind of songs and appreciate most of them. So it would make me very happy if you guys could help me in finding something that gives a similar effect, whether of the same genre/style or different from Hospice. It would also be nice to find a thematical (facultative) album which deals with the opposite of Sylvia: reassurement, comfort, good words against sadness, supporting a friend/family, and so on. Thank you in advance and sorry if it seems like a silly request.
tl:dr
Summarize it or we won't help you
>>72042695
read the title

Well their (or his rather) earlier albums are quite similar.
Otherwise, Bright Eyes.
It's not really that similar, but it gives me the same set of feels.

God fucking dammit I hate niggers.
Fuck rap and fuck any cuck who supports that garbage
>Pearl Jam
Literally overrated garbage 90's band
Blacks invented rap and rock so they're basically the same thing. how about you get over it and enjoy the million other things that you privileged white people DO have that the rest of the world doesn't.
I just listened to this for the first time and holy fucking shit i'm in love, what are your thoughts on this album?
Great production, lyrics often too on-the-nose and not a lot of variety in mood but March of the Pigs, Closer, and Hurt are god tier.
>>72057409
Great beeps and boops but the lyrics really fuck my mood
As above anon said.. Great production. Back in the day it was the most techno music we had in mainstream usa.
