Does any other album flow as nicely as this one?
Diaherrea flows nicely out the bootyhole like a summer breeze

>tfw want to make a playlist of good songs relate to JoJo's Bizarre Adventure
>don't even know where to start
So sure, I have the songs used as EPs on y wish list to get: Roundabout, Walk like an Egyptian, Last Train Home and I Want You....but what about the other references in the series?
What'd be a good Ronnie James Dio song? AC/DC? Wham? etc etc.
Figured that any way you slice it, I'm more than likely going to end up with good music on the playlist.
holy fuck

Try Close To The Edge? That's the only other Yes album i've liked. Some Iggy pop would do you good, probably the stooges too. David Bowie is related, especially the thin white duke era. Pink floyd is also good cause of crazy diamond and echoes
why did all their albums get such poor/mixed reviews when all of them are absolutely banging?
literally only pitchfork panned them
They didn't. Stop using Pitchfork as your only review source.

Im curious about what some of you guys think about sampling in hip hop. I just learned about that Lupe Fiasco song "the show goes on" from some anon in a Modest Mouse thread. With MM being one of my favorite bands i fucking hated that Lupe song, and to me it sounded like they just ripped the chorus right out of Float On. But maybe im too harsh on it all and should chill out. The amount of people in the comments claiming that shit was better than Float On rustled the fuck out of my jimmies. But maybe im a dickhead. What do you guys think, is sampling to that extent wrong? Is it great? Favorite examples of sampling?

I haven't actively listened to his music and I have zero desire to do so but its probably because he looks like an average dude who somehow made it to the top
everyone likes a successful everyman
WHATS WRONG WITH HIS FUCKING EYES
because he worked with... uhhh... that guy from N E R D

First time in 4 years I've seen someone say they like Hollerado. I'm big fan of the band, and they are very underrated. Also bonus points for PUP. I'd recommend White Reaper and John Frusciante. White Reaper released a new album yesterday and it's really good.

So, what exactly are the songs on this album even about?
I still have no idea how mutant enemies or white lace dresses or khatrus have anything to do with the album at all.
>>72032035
Yes often wrote songs with little meaning, they just liked how the words sound together
(especially on Siberian Khatru)
It's pretty much just "painting pictures with words", a-la Van Dyke Parks on SMiLE. The lyrics don't mean anything, but damn if they don't sound great.
>>72032093
this. i love the album, tho. as my father, who owned the vinyl said: typical pro-rog with three songs about nothing
Didn't see one in the catalogue. What better time to look back over the week than on friday afternoon?

what did you think of the new julia?
i was really underwhelmed desu
>>72031878
I saw her live last summer, and in an old church and not at a festival at that, so the dynamics of the tracks really reminded me on that intimate show. It's a decent way to pass the time until her next record if nothing else.
Ignore xxxtentacion it was for a meme.
