I thought the younger generation was supposed to be better at technology than everybody. Just get a Spotify subscription already, you're not good enough at this shit.

The Protomen are similarly knocking off Queen, but much better

Haven't listened to NIN in a hot minute. Only listened to one Coil album before. Seemed good, just wasn't feeling it that day lol.
I've also been listening to Gramatik and Rita Fishbone
How long could you survive on the Steve Hoffman Music Forums?
It's full of senile baby boomers and Beatle nerds, all of them obsessed with that loser cuck Hoffman--he, himself, also obsessed with himself. The mods are power crazy too.
It's one of the most infamous shitholes in the internet, but it's fun to read and ocasionally you find good info and recommendations.
I love the autistic detail they go into when analyizing audio quality, releases, mixes etc. Found it useful plenty of times
And don't say it's because of the amen break

Because I don't subject myself to repetitive mind-numbing mush.
Why was East Coast Hip Hop so generic and boring
Literally
>Yelling about shit with the same boom bap drum over and over again
Too pussy to act like thugs while also lacking the fun of West Coast. And not interesting enough to come up with unique sounds and interesting lyrics like Memphis Rap and most of the south.
Only good classic East Coast albums are Anything Tribe and Illmatic.
Ready To Die, 36 Chambers, ect are whack.
>>74921438
I see what you did there
90s East Coast Hip Hop is like classic rock, it's all about prowess and chops. How loud and high you can sing blues, how fast you can play the pentatonic on the guitar <=> how fast you can rattle off interesting, rhyming ways to say you're really good at killing your opponents over the same dusty boom-bap beats. Every big genre is basically like a big dick-waving contest over technique in its early years.
I should note, I like both these genres and VERY often prefer their simplicity to the more "modern" variations that spun off when people started getting bored. Ready to Die and 36 Chambers are both the polar opposite of wack.

actually there's nothing ironic about retrowave, it's genuine revivalism

satellite young is pretty great, lovely vocals, unlike the rest of the genre, which is usually way too mumbly
What do you guys think of it? I think they are just self-copying, but it's pretty decent album on it's own.
I forgot the link https://theanaesthete.bandcamp.com/album/utopioid
This album deserves a place in the Gangster Rap Cannon. 'Prophecy' eloquently remarks "How Fragile We Are..." in this tragic ballad. The phone skit will make you laugh your ass off, and 'Death' samples Biggie's 'Suicidal Thoughts' and paints the picture of Cam'Ron having a conversation with The Grim Reaper. 'D-Rugs' illustrates how drugs can tear families apart. 'Me and My Boo' (Duet with the lovely Charli Baltimore) is a Jay-Z-styled track about close platonic friends and the romantic tension between them. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gAuFideZBM8

Great album. But Sports, Drugs, and Entertainment was better.
they go way down. the first to 1550$-1650$. Ramoon's Spartan's cousin told me that. That's great music to my ears to my already ''sold'' cryptos. Who is that guy? It's the guy that can stir their pot against their directive plans. Good Song to listen to while you winning money by shorting. Dexta Daps - Shabba Madda Pot . His cousin told me he's got the ALKALINE - FORMULA
it's already happenin' dude don't worry. look eth-usd and bitcoin price how it started crashin' today, together with the rest of smaller cryptos
What's the final /mu/-verdict on this album?

It's got a clear crisp sound
their most accomplished album

>tfw broke, most of my money goes towards rent each month
>tfw once I have all the gear it'll take me years before I'm actually making music
>tfw already 22
