I took me a good 3 -4 years to figure out the entire program and all the other stuff. From my experience it just comes down to how much you are willing to put into it. Their are hundreds of tutorials on how to things in FL Studio on YouTube but alot of them are a bit off.
I suggest picking your favorite song and finding an FL Studio Remake that is accurate. The remakes on YouTube usually come with a flp. file that follows the structure of the song. Learn from that.
I did that with Madeon songs and learned how to put together songs.
