What are songs similiar to this one?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NHZUez5S1Eo
It's different from other punk songs, but I wouldn't know how. I guess it's rougher, and the voice adds a lot to that.
>>74938910
Heino has a similiar voice, but that's about it. Music-wise, they're very different.

Thanks! Although they seem to be more melancholic.
I am suddenly excited at the idea of listening to poetry readings for hours on end. Is this even music any more, or have I transcended the need for instrumentation?
The voice is just as versatile of an instrument than a Guitar or Saxophone. I'd say no if it's harmonic and the poetry is at least interesting to listen to.
If anything you haven't gone far enough, at least poetry is a form of musical expression, whether or not there are instruments.

>implying instrumentation is a necessity of music

That's a nice big cock.
So, Xiu Xiu is playing in my city this weekend, and I was wondering if I should go. Never really heard a lot of their original music, but I really liked Nina and the Twin Peaks album. Listened to the last album, and it was a bit too poppy but it was ok.
I just want to dance to some fucked up music. Will this satisfy my crave?
Thinking of taking a girl on a first date, too. mite b cool.
>>74938599
>I wanna dance
go to a deadmau5 concert instead
>>74938599
I saw Xiu Xiu at a night club in Portland in spring. No one danced, and it didn't feel appropriate to, either. They're really fucking good, live, though, but you'll need to bring ear plugs and also be certain your date is into it because Xiu Xiu is a bit niche.
Their percussionist is a fucking animal, too. Love her.
Really, no one danced/ moved around a bit at least? Still sounds cool. Might not take the girl though, she could like it but I thought it might me a bit more "fun" that respect, due to how poppy some songs are in Forget.
Another question, if you could see Body/Head and/or Thurston Moore solo, who'd you see?
how does /mu/ feel about sardinian women?
