So, Xiu Xiu is playing in my city this weekend, and I was wondering if I should go. Never really heard a lot of their original music, but I really liked Nina and the Twin Peaks album. Listened to the last album, and it was a bit too poppy but it was ok.
I just want to dance to some fucked up music. Will this satisfy my crave?

I saw Xiu Xiu at a night club in Portland in spring. No one danced, and it didn't feel appropriate to, either. They're really fucking good, live, though, but you'll need to bring ear plugs and also be certain your date is into it because Xiu Xiu is a bit niche.
Their percussionist is a fucking animal, too. Love her.
