Album of the Decade
Are the beatles really the greatest band of all time or are they an overrated pop band? Explain.

Wings > Beatles
Its dad rock
>>73359058
mom rock*
I seriously hope your dad isn't into the Beatles.
White Zombie or Rob Zombie?
Rob's solo career was an utter embarassment, early WZ was capable of pumping out a few good tracks.
>>73437691
Neither
Zombie Nation
When will you realise Kendrick is J. Cole-tier but with better production?
Right now, with this thread. Good thing you decided to shitpost today anon, I might've died an unenlightened maggot.

do you know/like Soko /mu/?
I find really easy to relate to her songs
they're both happy and sad
also, her production is great
she has a lot of forgettable songs
i like her exboyfriend a bit more

>>73358866
Her production is shitty, friend, but she has a handfull of good songs.
My roomate's name is Soko
Sooo. Now that the dust has settled, Is Vaporwave good. I would say that the album shown is beutiful. Or am I just a pretentious nu-male for saying this?
>>73358837
The dust settled like 5 years ago youre late to the party my nigger
>>73358837
Yes
Yes it is. It spawned some good releases and a lot of creative stuff. It was fun while it lasted
It's just such a damn shame that it twisted into this insanely autistic subculture with hoardes of untalented snowflakes and shitkids who literally slowed down Solar Fields tracks and put them out on cassette
>>73358837
It's a shoegaze scenario where the best albums were released at the inception of the genre, where the point wasn't "making a vaporwave album" it was about making something new, silly and endearing that commented on the culture that birthed it.
There's been some pretty good stuff since Eccojams and Far Side Virtual, Blank Banshee and Scared Tapestry standout but since the music is so easy to make everyone and their dog are doing it and the pool of good music becomes diluted beyond reason
what's your favorite album? have you ever had your asshole licked?
>>73437669
yes i have
Yes, I have. Glad I am meticulous about cleaning my asshole because I was caught by surprise. Met this qt Asian boi and we made out in his car, climb in the back seat and strip, then he turns me around and I thought he was just gonna stick it in but instead I had my first salad tossing right there. Never saw him again after that night :/
Briefly. It was one lick, and then she said "ewwwww, its spicy."
We can agree that the 2010s are definitely a better decade for music than the 2000s, right?
>>73358779
Name one "classic" from the 2010's and I'll match it with a better one from the 2000's
>>73358779
rock was definitely better in the 2000s, but hip hop and R&B are in a Renaissance this decade
>>73358779
sure can
hit me with the best/your favourite classical album (baroque/classical/romantic/expressionist included in umbrella term)

>giving a nobel prize to dad rock
>>73358752
I don't care because I think the Nobel Prize is a joke.
>>73358768
Dylan is definitely not dad rock. He is patrician as fuck.
Sorry to bother you with this post but I'm desperately trying to find a song/track I listened to a few months ago at a party in Berlin.
It was a house track but what I really want to find out is where was the sample from.
all I can remember from the lyrics is something like "I'll never be the same, life will have no meaning to me" and "If I could be a king" or something like that. I think the lyrics slightly resembles Billy Holiday's song I'll never be the same but it was definitely a less dated recording preformed by a male. sorry for bothering you with this but I've been trying to find this tune for monthes now.
also general song identification if you'd like to.
Future - Mask Off
Darude Sandstorm

>Darude Sandstorm
that joke isn't funny anymore
Why do people like auto tuned beta cuck music, if it's not enough that every 16 year old girl or any women in general for that matter, thinks they're a music sensation when really all they're doing is playing white trash guitar music in they're palace of domestic abuse.
why can't we go back to the good old days where musicians had actual talent like Frank Sinatra, Fred Astaire, Gene Kelly and Dean Martin. who didn't have to fill their music with computer generated crap, and actually had talent and sounded great!
Tell me why?
Does /mu/ like Cage the Elephant?
melophobia
>>73358513
Trouble is their best song
>>73358875
Fucking this!
>s/t is hot garbage
>Thank You Happy Birthday is a dumpster fire
>Melophobia is GOAT-tier indie rock
>Tell me I'm Pretty is bad
They have a very weird discography, desu.
