it's a shame that the rest of his music is so boring. this is the record that got me into house music. i've heard a lot of records since then that i prefer, but immunity certainly has a very nice sound.

Outkast - Aquemini
>metal fans constantly talk about "complexity" and "diversity" of their music
>always say the genre is about the best in composition for popular music
>this album comes out, BTFO of any comparable Metal group in terms of philosophy and composition
>metal fans hate it because it's popular
Why are metal fans so insufferable?

those aren't real metal fans
real metal fans care about riffs

how do you improve your singing voice? Anyone got some good tips or a link to a tutorial? I've been trying to learn to sing for a good three years but I still can't hit/sustain some notes properly. I do know how to breathe when singing, but that is pretty much it.
e.g. https://soundcloud.com/pla-tak-l/cant-crawl-back
I feel like a retard whenever I hear someone else pull off songs effortlessly, and I am not talking about professional signers either.
Former pro singer here.
You won't be able to sing everything you want to sing. Some things will be either out of your range entirely, or you won't have the right voice to sound right.
My advice is to not waste your time trying to do something you aren't physically capable, and focus on the things that are. Practice the things you're good at and slowly work on things you aren't, but know that you could do.
BE HONEST WITH YOURSELF! I couldn't do a lot of what pic related did, but I could still kill it doing what I did.
In case you think I'm larping.

You really want to know ok then.
Breathing (You may already know) - Inhale through both your nose and mouth this raises the soft palette that can cause you to sing flat. Also tense you abs/core and work on controlling airflow. Note that airflow isn't self-evident low notes need WAY MORE air flow than high notes and therefore way more support than high notes. Both however do need support.
Resonance - There are multiple areas to resonate your voice the most basic can be understood through Forehead/head voice, Nasal voice, Mouth voice, Throat voice (this will cause permanent damage), and Guttural screaming. For the vast majority of pop singing it's using the mouth and nasal voice. When singing properly into these areas you WILL feel vibrations in those areas. I quick check to make sure you not singing in your throat is to gently tap your throat while singing. If all sound stops you are singing in your throat if not and it just gets a bit quieter you are not.
Enunciation - You must over pronounce everything or else you'll just sound like you mumbling. Like try to sound fucking retarded with your over enunciation or else you'll just miss the point. You may be doing everything else right but it's all for not kinda like this https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z_r3jMBJ7CI&t=420s like without the lyrics sheet good fucking luck.
Proper mouth movement? - I don't know how to really explain but it's different than enunciation. Your lips must be pursed a bit like your trying to have nigger lips. Your tongue must for the most part glued to the bottom of you mouth. Both these help with being flat and add overtones to your voice.
Pitch This is just practice. A good way to help is to cup you ears forward like your trying to hear someone in front of you. This will help to remove the internal bone resonance that you experience when listening to when you sing. Oh and btw fucking RECORD yourself and listen to how you actually sound.
Listen to this album, you'll have a singing voice in no time.
