Question: Where am i supposed to find people to play music with?
My drummer friend moved out of town and my whole high school is full mainstream blebs or classic rock nazis that can't even improvise. How teh fuck am i supposed to play with them???!!
Is there any other option than just killing myself and hoping that i will be more fortunate in my next life?

Go solo. Why would you want to play with others? You'll just argue about your band's direction. The only real reason to form a band is to play old covers of rock songs for bars.
Of course bands can get along and be a success, but they're made from professionals and usually have a strong leader. I don't think those apply to your situation though.
put up fliers
I got a 4GB disc to fill up and I've only got 1GB to put on it.
Looking for shit like
Michael Buble
Rod Stewart
Louis Armstrong
Nat King Cole
Sinatra
Dean Martin
Mostly stealing my music from YouTube, so far so good.

Convert all your music to 64kbps using the HE-AAC codec. Saves a lot of space and keeps a really good quality. Works really well with small music players or micro sd cards
Perry Como
Johnny Mathis
101 strings
Barbara Streisand

This. If an artist's name starts with "Lil" now, I just discard them.
>tfw fell for the hipster-dislike meme
>Tfw find a couple hipster songs that are 8+/10.
Very fresh, comfy and nice songs that are unlike most of the music I've heard.
>>73871327
thats not hipster music...
>>73871327
What the fuck is hipster music?
Just listen to shit you think sounds good and stop being a faggot. Goddamn.

What is then?
too many crossposters
Everything is fine

the problem with Grimes on here is not the haters, it's the Grimesfags themselves. They practically ask for the sexually frustrated fags to come and ruin every–and I mean every–single thread. Don't start your thread with some provocative line calling her the best artist ever and telling haters to fuck themselves. You guys clearly do not actually want Grimes discussion.
Does anyone here work in a record store?

I work at a record store.
Day to day is some what mind numbing. Just a lot of organizing. I enjoy it because my life centers around music. It's an easy but boring job that I get paid pennies to do.
Also music-fans are some of the craziest people I've ever met. Half of my customers come in drunk.
I'm not even talking quality. Seriously how do people like this, maintain such consistency for almost a decade? Not even Bruno specifically but people like him.
Most artist fade into obscurity just after one album/single or two.

he's actually a great artist
By having a highly paid team of people write the songs for him by analyzing pop trends
>>73870867
He has a good voice, has an accessible timbre, and makes extremely inoffensive positive pop music. He also uses familiar song structures and styles that have proven to be successful in the past.
>album is named after the first track of Joy Division's second album

artist named themselves after a song off the Smashing Pumpkins' third album

>>73870576
Yeah these never seem to make it far but I love doing them =/ I worry that /mu/ in general is falling apart as well, like >>73870636 said, which worries me. Idk where else there is to talk about music I like.
I haven't got a full collage for once because I downloaded and started playing Skyrim in my free time rather than listening to music for the first time this past week... Some of these albums I only listened to one track off of from my driving playlist when I was on my way places.
