i still don't understand how to identify the meter in a song
beats are hard
count
>>75095260
it aint that easy. need to identify the grouping
>>75095217
Tap your foot or bang your head
One beat should feel stronger than the others
That's "one"
Count the other beats consecutively until you get to one again

To anyone interested in virtuoso drummer, punk pioneer and industrial visionary John Murphy (1959-2015):

This archive comprises all of Murphy's solo work (Shining Vril) gathered from many neofolk / post-industrial compilations and "All My Sins Remembered", a 2016 commemorative compilation made by friends and colleagues of Murphy featuring among others Nikolas Schreck, :Of The Wand And The Moon:, Blood Axis, SPK, Genocide Organ, Die Weisse Rose and Andrew King. Profits were donated to Murphy's wife to cover for medical and funeral expenses.

I very much recommend his and Nikolas Schreck's performance "In her thrall" for a demonstration of his capabilities as an improvising live musician:

Best bass player the band has ever had.
Hi. I would like your help with a small family project of mine. I play a little guitar, and my grandfather likes to sing, so he had this idea of making a couple of songs together. Completely amateour project, but important to him. So I got his vocal parts in the mp3 files amd need to merge it with my guitar parts. So questions: hod do I record guitar on computer (got electric)? Do you know any free and easy apps? And how can I put guitar parts and vocal parts together? Thank you in advance for any help.
nothing is free if you want to be good, unless youre truly gifted

mic up the amp and record it that way, 2/3rds of the sound comes from the physical work your amp does
>And how can I put guitar parts and vocal parts together?
for free you'd be stuck with Audacity or you could pirate Adobe Audition
FYI if you have a mac or iPhone you have GarageBand free. Not shilling, just saying.
Huggy Pop?
The only things that pop are his joints.
And don't give him a hug or else you'll call him Twiggy Snap
