>>75098769
no.
>>75098769
This was the album that got me into them. I thought they were just a shitty Nirvana clone for a decade before I gave them a chance. But, no it's not their best. The Bends and OK Computer are their best, Amnesiac and kid A are their worst.
how come i have never heard any other bands or people play guitar like grateful dead?
what style is it and how do they even make their guitars sound like that.
the guitar solo and at the end of this song is a good example of their unique sound.

>>75098519
Thanks anon, I'll check that out.
Anyone had any luck with these? I like g&l as they seem to be the evolution of Leo Fenders work. Heritage seems like they make a good Les Paul. I'm in the market for a new guitar and I don't want a fender because I want to try a new name, and I don't want to support Gibson because they're guitars are over priced in my opinion.
Anyone had any luck with these brands?
>>75098458
Heritage guitars are great, better than Gibson probably, i've only tried their jazz guitars though.
>>75098458
They're both absolutely great and put out guitars for much less than comparable Gibsons and Fenders. Even the tribute series G&Ls are really good, because they use the same parts/pickups as the American ones. Both brands have less resale value, but you can't really go wrong with either.
>>75098627
I was thinking of getting a tribute to start with as I save for a really nice legacy or h150. You'd say the tributes are a good value then?
>>75098496
Thats my thinking as well, I sorely wish they made an SG variant.

What's /mu/'s favorite double album?
I'm throwing London Calling into the ring- there's not a bad song on it, though I admit Lover's Rock doesn't do anything for me. I really like the White Album and Blonde on Blonde, but they both have quite a bit of filler.
Best Track: Probably "Lost in the Supermarket" or "Death or Glory", for tying the album together thematically, exploring the effects of blind consumerism and fame, and being very catchy. Hard to do all that at once.
My Favorite Track: Koka-Kola. The Clash sprint through this satirical depiction of the crazy, madcap life of marketing executives. The Clash dip into a lot of genres with LC, but this is the pure punk that put them on the map.
I'm still getting into music, so I mostly just know the really famous albums. I'm interested to hear what double albums you guys like
Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness is a GOAT double album.
Sing to God.
