It definitely take a little extra time to do the crosshatching but its all a labor of love so i don't mind. And it also doesn't take THAT much longer. Frankly it would probably take longer if I wanted to completely bucket fill an area just because of all the spots I'd miss.

No anon, only having fun with it matters, win or lose. Some of our best games were losses. Enjoying the cup even in defeat has always been something that distinguished horsefuckers. I think we got away from that a bit during the group stage, but hopefully we got it back. Maybe with two stars on the shield, some of the more doom-inclined fans will feel less pressure going into future cups. The best part about getting so far in this cup were the opportunities to cheer and do special stuff like the surprise custom music, not the victories in themselves.

Tenko made a joking remark in /4ccg/ that /mlp/ wasn't allowed in the Friendlies. It's a combination of the following
-Sharpie (for thick main outlines)
-Staedtler Black Pigment Liners (for small minor lines)
-Staedtler Triplus Fineliners (crosshatch coloring)
-Uniball White Ink Gel Pen (for highlights and eyes; this effect works because I use a toned tan sketchbook, so the eyes/highlights look brighter/whiter than the background)

Let it be noted, I don't always color this way. Sometimes, i just like to do simple shading and eye color, to give a comparison to the soccer stuff, I'll post a spoilered pic (because not 4cc related). I figured that the image/image-autosage ratio is much lower than the post/post-autosage ratio, so it shouldn't be too problematic, yeah? I'm still working on it, but I've only had the markers for like 24 hours so I'm still figuring 'em out.

I don't think Boris cares about people accusing him of rigging. He just made a bet he would have to quit streaming if /mlp/ won the cup, because literally no one thought /mlp/ would win again, including Boris. We looked like the weakest team to go into the knockouts, having only one win and negative goal difference.

The reason Boris was salty is because he likes to see new teams become champions and win their first star. I imagine he was hoping for an /o/ - /m/ final and /v/ - /mlp/ third place trophy match, so that cheeky 90 plusser really wrinkled his sprinkles.

He probably would've been just as salty if it had been /fit/, /mu/ or any other team that already had a star on their logo cheeking themselves to the final.

For everyone else, though, as it is now we're the first team to win the race to two legit stars, won back to back summer cups, while most crowd favorite teams don't even have a single star yet. Everyone now has to aspire to try to be as good as /mlp/, and it shouldn't have to be explained that it leaves a salty taste in their mouths.

When we had one star, we we're just "a" champion. Now we are "the" champion. We went from just hall of fame to being fucking Gods looking down from heaven at the plebs trying to figure out how to make fire.
