Honestly Seed is legitimately one of the ugliest shows in the series to me when it comes to art style and animation. Cool suits but everything else looks either bland or awful, like one of those How to Draw Anime books animated.

I was wondering how hard the Kikaider volumes would be to track down now that I've decided to try to buy Skull Man. I found volumes 4-7 at a used bookstore for $3 apiece and got the first two online for $4 each. I just need to get volume three somwhere for a decent price.

What was fucking bad:
The fact MC and the girl were siblings. Also MC didn't try to do anything further with any girl. White haired girl was very cute and all. Nothing really hapened.
Lack of a final huge fucking battle with high stakes. We needed something big like a colony drop attempt and MC had to stop it.
Banana should have been one of the main atangonists, a woman like Haman Karn.
It didn't have any new type power thing. Would have been great if MC had huge new type powers.
Lack of a new MS for MC, instead he only had new packs. Would have been great if they made something like Freedom Gundam.

I feel like the show wanted us to believe McGillis was the greater evil with some good ideas that Rustal felt best to implement to quell any further dissent, but the way things are presented, McGillis actually comes across as the more honorable of the two.
Did they just fuck up making Mcgillis a bonafide villain? In retrospect the only thing he really did wrong was try to kill his friends to boost his position, but throughout season 2, he plays more by the rules than Rustal.
Heck, Rustal goes on about maintaining order, but if anyone was a threat to order in season 2, it was Iok, not McGillis. In any real life scenario where the characters aren't idiots, Rustal would have probably been the neutral faction.
