Is Talos the oldest mecha in fictionr?
Piloted by Koji Helmetius, no doubt.
>>14030625
Talos was more a Golem-like creature rather than a mecha.
>>14030676
Golems are /m/
If the Zudah was superior to the Zaku and the only problem was that it would blow up when the pilot pushed the suit beyond its limits, why didn't they just add a limiter of sorts?
>>14030425
Because it wasn't. It's Zimmad propaganda.
>>14030429
On the few specs it does have it seems to be better than both the Zaku I and Zaku II though

Groovy.
Wich are the most powerful metal gear?
For me the best is Peace Walker
>>14017653
Excelsus
REX
It was built like a bomb-shelter and was virtually invulnerable to the weapons used to take down every other Metal-Gear. It also was capable of taking down an Anti-Metal-Gear Metal-Gear designed specifically to destroy it in close range combat.
In addition to having the best direct combat performance it also had the best nuclear capability not only having the best range but also the only Metal-Gear to have an undetectable unintercept-able stealth nuke.
ZEKE, TX-55 and Metal Gear-D were all inferior precursors to REX. RAY was beaten by REX and also lacks nuclear capability too. Excelsus was literal junk designed for propaganda according to its own game.
The only real competition is the bizarrely advanced weaponry of the Sahelanthropus however the only real threat to REX there is the metallic archaea rust cloud, Sahelanthropus however is easily eliminated with regular rockets so it strikes me that REX would trivially knock it off balance and dismantle it with missiles and lasers before it could present a real threat.
REX is the king.
>>14017687
THIS. REX is simply too powerful.
Is Tiger & Bunny /m/?
What do you lot think of it?
>>14015170
It is, its awesome, and I love the MG Figurerises
>>14015179
I finished it recently and I really enjoyed it. Loved the designs and characters in general.
I want a Wild Tiger figure-rise.
S2 never even though it did really well
So what were the magic powers some people seemed to have and why did it annoy Ryo so much?
Also Mazinkaiser SKL thread, shit was fun even if it didn't care about story
>>14036904
When does Ryo even interact with the Hachiryokaku? The only time I remember him getting really pissed about anything was hating Garan for talking about destiny.
>>14036924
>The only time I remember him getting really pissed about anything was hating Garan
That was like half an episode and a load of flash backs, about clones? Or maybe it was all in his mind kind of thing i don't know
It seemed like kinda a big deal that just needed a throw away line about him being a test tube baby or something in between shouting attack names

Special Rescue Police Winspector
Episode 47
The Millionaire Apartment Trap
Presented by Sailor Otaku
Company trade secrets are being leaked and sold to rival corporations, and the only consistent link is that they seem to be coming from a fabulous computerized apartment complex where every need is seen to by an automatic computer system. What's behind the leak of the secrets? And when the computer system goes haywire, will Ryoma and the team be able to save the residents? Find out in The Millionaire Apartment Trap!
Notes: A Sagiyama episode about a little girl that has no psychic powers, and a rabbit. The bizarre scene where her father almost throws the rabbit to its death, and where her father tells her he wants to protect the rabbit later, it's actually not a bad episode.
There is a disappointing use of stock footage at the end of the episode from Episode 10, as the exact same footage of the ultrasonic wave generator appears. We also never see Ryoma take down the syndicate leader. We're just to assume that they do it. Well, why not show it, I say! It would be more exciting than escaping Pee Wee's Playhouse with moving chairs, lasers, and bunnies. Anyway, an overall OK episode hampered by somewhat lazy writing and stock footage.
Enjoy. The finale begins in the upcoming two parter!
In the grim darkness of 1999 Future Japan, 5.25" 1.44 MB floppy disks will make a comeback as the hacker tool of choice.
Ah thanks! The finale is so close, yet so far now.

Normally I'd chalk that down to Japan's signature use of ambiguity, but yeah, blame Sagiyama.
I cant keep up with the subs while i draw,I need a decent dubbed /m/ series to play in the backround.
Could you please help me out?
/m/ drawing resources / OC are also welcome
Why not put on some Kraftwerk? Or Jeff Wayne's War of the Worlds? Or some OSTs? For tthat I'd recommend the ZZ Gundam and G Gundam ost because damn that shit's long.

Maybe I'll post some OC. Eventually.
My friend and I want to cosplay Kamen Rider #1 and Kamen Rider Kuuga. Where would you reccomend we go to commission these suits and how much would it cost?
My recollection is that sentai suits go for $1k and helmets for a few hundred on top of that. And it will take a few months to make.
>>14035687
Time isn't too big of an issue. We're just assessing how much it'l cost and where from at the moment.
>>14035695
Honestly the only bits of Ichigo you couldn't make on your own quickly is the belt and helmet. You just need a black adidas track suit, some gloves and boots you pain silver and foam you cut into pecs and abs that you wrap in green vinyl.
ITT: Beautiful mocha designs

One more reason to hate wing. Feel free to chime in!
Kinda to not really.

By that logic, the Archangel ripped of the Epyons MA-mode
Hey /m/!
I'm considering springing for this Patlabor art book. Anybody have any background info on it and/or own it?
Seeing how it says "Patlabor", it may have nothing to do with Patlabor at all.
>>14034786
Blow me, thanks.
Anybody else?
Why were people shitting on it in the beginning ?
5ep in and I enjoy it so far. It's actually the first tomino anime that I don't hate and can watch more than 1 ep per seating.
The animatin is quite well made and I like how colorful the whole anime is.
Although the dialogue between the characters are stupid/autistic/goofy as usual, it actually made me smile unlike all his previous works.
Did I become autistic or is g reco a decent anime? I still doesn't like king gainer even though I like the mech and the fight.
>>14034647
I liked G-redo aswell.
>>14034647
People wouldn't accept that war could be about a bunch of greedy amateurs suddenly getting their hands on advanced technology without learning the responsibility that comes with using it. Long story short, idiots didn't get it.

But Turn-A though
FAZZ > ReZEL > Zeta Plus > ZZ > Zeta > ReGZ

wedge the ZII somewhere between FAZZ and ZZ
fuck you, REEEEEgeez is love
sup
What do you think about opponents that fight using the same mecha?
What are some well done or poorly executed examples?
I love it when it happens in video games
The villain or rival being a dark version of the hero is a pretty generic thing to do. If the mecha have exactly the same capabilities then the fight is pretty much guarantee to just be the same attacks clashing each other until the hero gets enough resolve to overpower his opponent.
The way this can be made exciting is if the relationship between the two characters has been developed enough for the fight to be emotional. GaoGaiGar vs GaoFighGar in Final was good. Domon vs Master Asia was good. Hikaru vs Nova in Rayearth had an interesting dynamic though honestly I don't really remember the actual fight much.
I was gonna cite Kyosuke vs Beowulf in OGIN as a bad example because they didn't even really know each other, but I guess that doesn't count as the same mecha because of all the Einst shit.
That depends on the skill of the runner
