dumb bitch
>>14033615
That's pretty funny. She's got a sense of humor at least. Instead of blowing you off for collecting robot toys, she teases about its lack of fashion sense. You'd better not fuck this up.
DO YOU HAVE ANY IDEA HOW MANY MOBILE SUITS YOU HAVE JUST RUINED FOR ME
blonde drilled by a cripple man
Abicion shut the fuck up. Nobody cares about the stupid drilled girl. You're attempting to rile butthurt out a fanbase that doesn't exist.
This is why everyone thinks you are a joke.
>>14032920
If you had done this with Carta weeks ago you might have gotten some more attention.
You gotta strike while the griddle's hot man. With one episode left, no one cares already.
What is the best looking feddie mobile suit and why is it the Byarlant?
Real talk, it's probably because it's really a perfect blend of Federation and Zeon aesthetics.
definitely a good suit not sure about best though. Many of the Unicorn Feddie suits are best.
Yeah Unicorn did a great job really giving more on screen variety to the EFSF MS forces. It's not just the main characters and their special snowflake MS, then a slew of GMs, Jegans or other visor mooks like a lot of other animations kind of tended to make it seem like.
Am I the only one who liked Gundam Assault survive?
I mean I love Gundam battle Universe
but I feel like Assault survive had a lot of nice upgrades
More Ai partners
24 custom character slots
Universal money for upgrades
Upgrade parts for even more mobile suit customization
Skill customization
Ability to travel back and forth between maps
Ability to pick and choose faction missions at will instead of being stuck with one or the other per save
Better lock on system
So why is it so unloved compared to Gundam Battle Universe?
Am I missing something?
Also why don't these game's have an online fanbase?
I mean with the psp emulator and pro online these games are playable online so I'd figure /m/ would be on that
>>14032564
Also general /m/ game thread I guess
I think everyone's big problem with it was that it has less levels and pilots than Battle Universe. I personally enjoy not having to store so many memory card slots to unlock massive amounts of Mobile Suits.
>>14032564
>More Ai partners
It's not like they're ever particularly useful or add interesting dialog/scenarios so big whoop.
>24 custom character slots
You only needed 2 with the way stats work.
>Universal money for upgrades
Just feeds into the money grind
>Upgrade parts for even more mobile suit customization
Minmaxing ahoy
>Skill customization
See above
>Ability to travel back and forth between maps
Which leads to traveling through empty maps to make sure some dumbass doesn't get himself killed and ultimately just wasting your time
>Better lock on system
Not when you can still completely miss fuckers at close range with your melee
The omitted one is legit, but no,you're not the only one out of billions of other people who liked GBAS.
It's an unloved game however because its not a very well thought out game in the area of fun. You can complete all the campaigns and still wind up missing a SHITload of suits who most of which want some absurd amount of ingame currency to obtain, the newly implemented suits(Like Exia) are ill placed in such an engine, there's a T O N of reused stages with poor scenarios and it's the one of the few Gundam Assault games to irreversibly make your Customs worse than a main character.
I just read The Forever War, and now I've got kind of a hankering for stories with very fast sublight space ships and relativistic time dilation in them. Other than the obvious Gunbuster, is there any /m/ material that deals with this kind of stuff? Power armor shenanigans and enforced homosexuality optional.
>>14032467
I only can think of Gunbuster, Space Fantasia 2001 Nights, and Interstellar.
And I would only really recommend Gunbuster
>>14032484
I would recommend Space Fantasia. I thought it was pretty sweet.
>>14032742
>Space Fantasia
Hoshino Yoshinobu's stuff in general is as hard sci-fi as it gets, right (at least when not dealing with supernatural stuff)?
I dip in and out of anime and decided to dip back into mecha with IBO. Don't really want to make this another thread about IBO so we'll put that aside for the moment. I noticed when I went looking for something else that there is basically a SHITLOAD of Gundam stuff out right now across all TV and manga, then someone else here mentioned Gundam fatigue.
Was it a real thing? How did it come about? How bad did it get? People say G-reco and IBO ratings are at like 2% which sounds pretty fucking terrible (I know nothing about Japanese audience share), were things in the past even worse?
>>14032399
Apparently people got fatigued with Gundam in the 90s. I would be willing to believe that. I mean you had Victory, Wing, G, and X
That's not even getting into all of the OVAs from that time
>>14032399
1979 - First Gundam is badly rated and cut around 7 episodes short
1980 - Opinion changes with the release of the compilation movies, becomes huge hit
1985-91 - They convince Tomino to make more Gundam. Now Gundam going REALLY strong
1991 - Gundam still going strong, but F91 gets 90% of its content cut, possible fatigue of Tomino or the audience
1993 - Tomino does Victory Gundam, which he now sees as a huge failure. He stops directing Gundam for a while.
1993-96 - Gundam is now becoming mediocre compared to previous series, and by the time X comes out, it is cut 11 eps short due to heavy fatigue.
1996-99 - Return to the quality of early 90's Gundam, Tomino does Turn A in 1999, only to stop again until G-reco
2000-present - More innundation of mediocre Gundam with some gems in there. Currently I'd say a heavy heavy fatigue is setting in, and Tomino will most likely never work on Gundam again
>>14032399
I think franchise fatigue is a real thing and the Gundam franchise is not immune to it especially since BN has an insatiable need to push plastic making each new show a glorified toy commercial. This leads to each entry being the same old rehashed plot that we've seen several times already.

I'm working on it.

I'm trying really hard, but the cardboard scrander I made keeps falling off.
Had a question that's small so I figured I'd start a thread for similar stuff. Anyway does anybody know the song that plays right at the end of 00? Just re watched it so yeah, it's the one that starts with Patrick's wedding scene and I can't seem to find it anywhere.

What's the deal with Zeon's naming scheme, is there any meaning behind them?
E.g. Zaku, Gouf, Gelgoog, Gogg, Komusai, Musai
Best recent Gundam series?
I enjoyed 00 and AGE, what sounds good lately?
Build Fighters.
Not Try.
>>14030203
G-Reco and Build Fighters were both quite good, though I did enjoy 00 and AGE to some extent. Ignoring G-Reco, the last really great Gundam for me was Turn A.

Is the Time Bokan series /m/? I've been wanting to get into it, but don't know where to start or who to get subs from. Otherwise, Time Bokan series thread.
>>14029828
I tried watching the Yatterman live action and couldnt make it to the end since it was so damn awful. So my only advise regarding this is: dont watch that movie.
>>14029828
None of the series is actually subbed, is it?
>>14029828
I actually watched this series when I was a kid. It's probably enjoyable for a kid age under 10 or so but unless you are really into retro anime it would be just a waste of time.
>>14029857
I actually bought the blu-ray of this live action movie just for ripping the part of the movie where Kyoko Fukada appears. I didn't bother to watch through the whole movie because I knew it's shit.
