This edition of the thread had a rocky start, but overall the conversations are not all that drastically different from the last lesgen. If anything /clg/ is more lusty haha

A notable feature is there are like two people over there who raise a stink all the time, calling people "matt" or "tranner" and then the whole thread decays pretty quickly. (Still have no idea who Matt is, or if he is like Cara or something?)

/clg/ seems to have more posters overall so far so it moves a bit faster too. Right now they are doing a mini survey about age, profession gold star, that sort of thing.

The situation is...I'm addicted to her, and she knows it. She sends me pictures of herself in skimpy clothes (not even naked, because she knows she can arouse me at the drop of a hat). Well, I finally had a crystal clear talk with my spouse. There was a lot said, I cried a little because I've been causing pain without realizing it, but the major issues are at least out there. We acknowledged that neither one of us is getting fulfillment anymore, but we also agreed that neither one of us wants to be alone. We're both financially dependent on one another and I've got my breathing problems so it's good to just...have someone to rely on if I go into an asthmatic attack. But we had a mature talk about the possibility of us seeing other people in the future.

It's still kind of an awkward position, but I think for now it will work. I at least feel some relief knowing that I could find someone and it'd be alright. But neither one of us really wants to deal with the hassle of divorce, legal crap is the worst. At least we're still best friends forever, no matter what.

Strongly depends on what I feel like doing.
If I feel like holing up and doing "inside" things like vidya or watching shows then rain makes everything that much cozier. Rain is also good for trail walking, as it keeps the temperatures down and the crowds away.
I prefer sun (or at least a lack of rain) for traveling or shopping though -- logistics and navigation are less complicated in dry conditions. Lounging around outside with a book, or swimming (not that the occasional swim in the rain isn't fun) are also activities better suited to sunny days.

I am one of those people who's mood is dependent on the weather a lot. It is so bizarre. Even on days when I never look outside my disposition is often brighter on sunny days.

I like cozy rainy days in too but I need to be able to see outdoors. My house will have glass room somewhere I can feel outside but be inside. That is what I have always wanted.

I don't think it is that crazy of a dream. I grew up on the ocean and when I moved I had to go from one coast to another because I don't think I could handle it any other way.

I really associate closely with water as a spiritual element haha (I don't tell most people that though.)

Pic related is the harbour from the waterfront of my home town. About a 10 minute bike ride from my house. (I could get to the shoreline of the upper harbour in like 3 minutes walking/could see it from the end of my driveway, and I had a river that ran through my yard. )

I can relate, somewhat. I grew up about 40 miles from the Atlantic coast. There was dense foliage no matter where you went, and it rained heavily every week or two. Once, it rained for two weeks straight.

I understand what you mean! I'm not exactly a spiritual person, but I still feel a closeness to water more than anything else. There's a special way to how it is, maybe it's why in ancient times we thought of space as like water too.

What a beautiful place you grew up in. The scenery where I grew up was beautiful, but it was marred by ugly people (mostly inside, sometimes out too) in every direction.

I've never actually used soundcloud myself. I remember I used to use LastFM to discover music before it turned into a mess. I feel like there was a couple other sites like it that did the same thing. It's like it's a thing with online music services, they have to wither and die in a cycle.

Okanagan Spring is generally decent though, if a bit unexciting. Maybe you're just not a beer drinker, or maybe you just gotta keep going until it becomes an acquired taste.

Haven't tried that one, but I've liked some of their other ones (the saint seiya one and the persona one iirc). I'm not usually a fan of the local fruity beers, the fruit flavour is either too subtle or artificial for me, but I'll give it a go sometime. I've really liked some of the Japanese fruit beers I've had, so maybe the weeby label is a good sign.

If you like sweeter beers, I think this one is pretty great. Dark though, being a porter and all.
