Ok, heres the deal. Monday ill be getting my hands on the hormones i have wanted for months, but the thing is, now that im this close im super anxious. I think im so scared of how this will change my life that ive started questioning if im really trans or not, but at this point its just an extra bother.
Im hoping between "im obviously trans, why do i even wonder" and "m-maybe its something else?" with a lot of frequency now. Since im so close to getting my hormones its happening alot more and im getting really anxious and stresses over wondering about it. Is it normal? Did you guys feel anxious or tense when you were close to getting your hormones?

Recently I made a comment about this facebook page "Lizzy the Lezzy". Gender norms can be detrimental or beneficial or neutral, it depends on the specific culture in question. For example, I'd argue treating women like cattle as they do in Islam is counterproductive, as you remove one half of the workforce from any productivity. Alternatively, raising young men to be cold hearted and insensitive helps feed patterns of violence and academic underperformance.
I think bisexuality is or would be a lot more prevailent than is typically thought. I think many young people are innately bisexual, and just don't know it yet, and there's a window for them to acknowledge it or not. After a while if you just stick to one gender it just imprints.
I would argue some 25% of the population is latent bisexual, even if only 2-3% is actively bisexual.

What were some of your names that you almost chose? Why did you go with something else?
I'll start. Kathryn was almost the name I went with because several authors that influenced me a lot growing up had some spelling of that name, and Kathryn was the spelling I liked the most. I ended up going with something else when I realized that a lot of people I knew personally were named Katherine, and I didn't want to have any of them thinking I named myself after them.
