I clean my brass in a huge cement mixer. just throw it in there with a gallon of boiling water and about a cup of simple green, or vinegar, or even dawn dishsoap. let it tumble a while then redo with cold clean water a few times. then lay it out on a cookie sheet in the oven for 30 minutes or so. comes out like new. what i like about this method, i can clean like 1-5k pieces of brass at a time.

Looking to get a PRO this holiday season.
Only thing I'm curious about is running a magnifier. I'm a letting and I hear with the Comp m4 there are issues of seating it so it can flip out due to the battery holder, does the PRO have this issue?

Bought a windham 20" A2 bbl kit and a RRA forged A2 upper. Stage 1 of my A2 clone underway. I know both of those have M4 feed ramps but I don't feel that detracts from the clone aspect.

I've made the mistake of trying to use a standard hex wrench in a metric hex screw. It only took one for me to realize how bad I fucked up, because the hex screw was instantly stripped. Also serious question here, could I use insta blueing solutions to darken engraving marks or should I get everything re coated? If I get the complete lower fully redone I loose my decal I have on the side. I could've use the nail polish trick and fill the engravings in as an alternative... pic related is the engraving.
