Have an opportunity to get a 12" DD omega rail for super cheap. But, I have carbine length gas and all the pics of the rail have it with the fsp. Also, I don't really know how strong the mounting is.

Function great, hard as fuck to load by hand though. But once they're loaded I've never had an issue. I even had to nig rig my bolt to match the feed ramps on the lower (yes, the lower) and it's never failed me, aside from not playing nice with Blazer Brass for some reason.

SB Tactical and Maxim Defense partnered to make it. Probably back in 2001 or 2002, Gundam was getting pretty popular in the US. (I remember because I was a kid and I was into gundam, had a few toys and watching Gundam Wing on Toonami)

Anyway, at some point they introduced this version of the gundam toys which were "battle scarred" or whatever. Basically, they looked all beat up and came with extra parts like cut off arms and shit. I thought they were sweet and begged my parents for one.

I feel like this is the same thing, like you're paying extra for something that comes beat up. Is there some kind of explanation for why people like this? I guess it's like buying jeans that are already ripped up too. Is it our laziness? Or our addition to a sort of "worn in" aesthetic?
