They've got a better finish and more authentic action than it's only real competitor, the Ruger Vaquero, but I favor the ruger for modern coil springs and the ability to safely carry 6 beans in the wheel if I feel like.

Also older model Vaqueros like mine are just fixed sight Blackhawks and can take seriously stout loads if you want to hunt with it or just take punishment.

The uberti is a good buy though if you just want a fairly authentic western plinker.
