There's no reason to use 9mm when modern cartidges like .357sig, 40s&w, and 10mm exist.
>>33986084
Anyone else having problems with Winchester white box 9mm? Literally at least 1 failure to eject per mag.
>>33986091
Stop using an obsolete round. Problem solved.
What should you do if you're in public when a shooting/robbery happens, you're about to pull out your gun, and someone else has already drawn theirs and is firing at the bad guys? Should you draw your gun as well and provide backup, or should you just leave it to Mr. Law Abiding who's already shot one of the criminals while their accomplice(s) run off?

Seek help.
I wouldn't shoot if someone else was already shooting. How can I be sure who the bad guy is?

Lever actions are obsolete.

Why do I feel like a non-pistol grip stock on one of these would be the sexiest thing of all time...
Well now that TN has decriminalized suppressors/silencers what kind of silencer would be great for a Yugo SKS and a Yugo M72 RPK will the wolverine suppressor work fine with a thread adapter on the SKS fal pattern threads.
Wait, where is this suppressor decriminalization going on?
>>33985439
TN
Its being treated if im undersrandimg it correctly the same way marijuana decriminalization in Colorado is done

>>33985384
I unironically like that 1911, almost bought it, but when the pre election polls started looking like Hillary was gonna take it I bought a Colt LE-901 instead.
It's been a great rifle but I wish I'd have bought that 1911 :'(
I've been studying the assembly of the 1911 and kind of fell in love with the simplicity, how much does it vary between manufacturers?
Hello there, /k/ I am not a government worker and I'm looking for the ar/k/ive. For completely immoral reasons, I assure you.
Can one of you fellow /k/ids send me a copy?
Fuck you, I've been looking for it as well
>>33985335
Surley you do not mean the do/k/ument?
>>33986365
Perhaps it may.
Rumors say that it is an 250 GB document filled with information obtained by fellow /k/ommandos who pooled all their military knowledge into a single manual.
After being a hasguns for about a while now and buying a variety of guns, I've slowly come to a conclusion: I like bolt-action rifles better than semiautos.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not arguing that semiautos aren't more practical for SHTF/WROL - I know that they are. And I have a modern semiauto in my gun case for just that reason. But I just don't *enjoy* using semiautos as much as I do bolt guns. I like their simplicity, their reliability, and their accuracy, and I think cycling a bolt by hand is actually kind of fun. So while I like my semiauto, the truth is that other than what I have now and maybe an M-16A1 replica just because I like Vietnam War history, I can't see myself ever buying another one. As for bolt guns (and even leverguns) though, there's still a long list I'd love to own someday (both milsurps and otherwise).
I can't be the only person who feels this way, can I?

In all honesty, the thread by that anon who bought one of those for $60 bucks kinda has me interested in one. But first I have one of the new Henry single-shot break-action rifles to buy.
>>33985137
Good on ya m8.
Precision shooting is really a world unto itself.
Physics, mathematics, kinesthetics, patience, and discipline. Finding the perfect hand load data for your ammo and rifle is so satisfying, too.
I personally like sub guns. Select fire or semi, fun to shoot and collect, even if they're not practical to more, and the doctrine has faded.
>Tfw /k/ hates any weapon that isn't a gun firing modern ammunition.
Why must it be this way, /k/? All weaponry is interesting and deserves discussion.
There shouldn't be discrimination.

How do I join a militia in my area? I live in a rural area and I'm sure there are a few around. Should I even bother? Anyone have experience with militias?
>>33984893
>Should I even bother?
No.
Just join the FBI directly. The percentage of FBI agents in a field office and in your local militia will be about the same.

Are they full of tools and wannabe navy seals?
Owning a gun makes you a shooter like owning a violin makes you a violinist. If you don't fire at least 1000 rounds a month, you are not training enough.
howTrumpwaselected.jpg
>training
why
You can fire 1,000 rounds a month and still know jack-shit about shooting.
>m70a
>9+1 9mm.
>Thin enough for carry
>Heavy enough to eat 9mm recoil.
>Rugged
>Stylish(?)
>All metal construction
>Costs $229
What other stealth value guns are there?
you can tell when someone is nu/k/ when they say a single stack is good for carry
I wouldn't carry a tok with a round in the chamber if i where u

Has /k/ read Use of Weapons?
Fucking good book
>>33984633
I really want to get into the culture series but I need to finish Patriot Games before I start a new series
>>33984950
I read The Player of Games to Consider Phlebas to Use of Weapons
I can't complain about that order.
It's really really fucking good
Use of Weapons goes beyond the normal good shit to the realm of REALLY good shit
Not because of the story it tells but because of the metaphorical level it involves.
Like it's not just about what's going on directly, but what it means figuratively
Have you watched any Star Trek series? The Culture series is like a refutation of it
>>33984994
I've watched Star Trek, what drew me in was the Minds' sense of humor in the names to be honest but I read up on the series and I really want to get into it.
The setting really interests me with the how the whole of the Culture works I'll be sure to get it
