I met Ian on a shooting range once, he was just wailing on this girl, I tried to intervene, but. . .without breaking eye contact with the poor woman, he drew out a luger, the barrel rested on my forehead. I was terrified. He continued harassing the woman, blow after blow, something about "ethics in historic militaria journalism" I can't remember, when the ordeal was over and Ian finally acknowledged my existence, his finger tightened on the trigger, old hinges creaked as ancient pistol prepared to fire, I lost control of my bladder, cold, merciless eyes held my gaze, and he said:
"Hello. My name is Ian. And today we are . . .
delet this. ian wouldn't hurt a fly

Say that you noticed the neighbor boy modified his drone to fire bottle rockets and drop fire-crackers.
What would be the best weapon/ammo type to kill a drone that big?
Good quality 12ga bird shot. It isn't armoured.
Don't do this, you'll get arrested

so the revision company believes this will be the future soldier, comes with one of those battery powered movement enhancers that go on your legs, the outfit covers 60% of your body in armor, has a full face mask fitted helmet that is suspended from the back so it dosent weight down your head. What are your thoughts on it? wouldnt it be hell to have to wear all that in the desert, and wont the visor fuck with your ventilation? Imagining lugging that through the desert just sounds horrible, enhanced movement or not, and those only last around 6 hours.

You still have dirt cheap nuggets, right? Get a nugget. Only worth it for the cost, and you've got that going for you, which is nice.
>>33989126
I think so, about 200$+ but I know nothing of quality or longevity, is it a good option?

Vroooooom vroooooom!
So
I'm in a bit of a conundrum.
For my first AR, im building a retro style M16A1 and I've found all the parts for it online (https://pastebin.com/BaQA7U1V).
It totals to about ~$1400, not including shipping, ammo, etc.
But I've now found a full repro going for about the same price.
http://www.txmgo.com/index.php/shop/guns/product/101-semi-auto-m16a1-replica
Should I go ahead and build my own anyways, or eliminate any room for error and just buy the repro? Are there any pros and cons to either one?
>>33988752
$1400 for a home build... Even with the guchiest of parts that still sounds excessive.
>>33988769
That's why I'm thinking about buying the repro

You already had your thread where you got a shit ton of replies. Why do you need another about the same shit?
Any of you guys feel empty after leaving the military? I've been in 14 years and will be getting out in september and I'm just worried I'll miss it and crawl back. Anyone with real experience in the military got any tips for a deserting faggot?

Thank you for your cervix.
I'll list some Pros and Cons about having something like this for our troops.
Pros:
>Protection from small arms fire
>Able to overcome obstacles and barriers
>Boost morale
>Frighten the enemy
>Could carry heavy equipment and support weapons (LAW, SAW, Rockets, Grenades)
>Could be used as a battering ram
Cons:
>Expensive as hell to produce, let alone test and manufacture
>The soldiers in it would have to be specially trained, and very strong
>If one's destroyed in the field, it could have a blow-back effect and destroy morale
>If the enemy is able to recover one of the destroyed suit they might reverse engineer it
>The Left would go fucking crazy again
What are your thoughts on Battle Armor/Power Armor? What role, if they're introduce, should they play on the battlefield?
Is the only real issue with power armor right now just powering it for any length of time without a tether?
>>33988488
The real issue is life isn't Call of Duty.
>>33988488
I believe so. I have no real knowledge on current dives into the field of BA research, but besides actually getting it to power up, but minimizing the power supply to such a small degree that it can be placed inside the thing.
I'm nogunz. I've only shot handguns, nothing else. I'm going to the range in the next two weeks to rent and AR-15 to try. I was wondering which kind to buy if I end up liking it.
The M&P seems to be the best budget AR-15 around.
However, I have seen that the Colt LE6920 is considered to be like the best sub-1k AR-15 and it's literally a perfect milspec gun that the military uses.
The differences between he two seem only minor. Something about the rifling turns being less in an M&P and an M&P not having a chrome lined barrel.
I'm leaning towards the Colt but that's a lot of money and I want to know if it's not worth it. (It does have that "cool" factor of military use though).
Which should I get and why?
>>33988423
LE6940 >>>>>

The contract for M4s in the US Army went to FN USA years ago OP. The M&P15 is a solid pre-built AR15. Make sure to get a Gen 2 with a dust cover and forward assist.
Heads up though in the long run for aftermarket parts. You'll be kicking yourself in the ass for not building an AR15 with the parts you want.
>>33988423
