How would England have fared in the Hundred Years' War if at the start of the conflict their longbows were suddenly replaced with compound bows from the 2010s?
>>33973463
What's the poundage of those bows? Assuming that you had the same or greater poundage, the English would be able to turn essentially any man into a very skilled archer with minimal investment of time.

good

Poorly.

What historic gun manufacturers aren't cucked? Is it just Bernetta and Holland and Holland?

Browning.
Own two Marlins my great grandfather bought for my dad. It hurts to see Marlin now.
Sig, HK, CZ. The problem is that most have had to downsize, or become somewhat cucked by our bullshit laws. HK gets crap about them not importing all their funs, but the government screws them over. Same with most cool guns.
I think this piece is pretty cool. Anyone got more?

better glass.
To tag along with this, I have a CZ 455 synthetic I recently bought and I'm debating the Prostaff II (which I already have one on my 10/22 build), a P-22, or a Leupold FX-1. Which should I get?

Has anyone here taken the AFOQT and/or TBAS?
I would appreciate any first-hand commentary on the content of the tests or how best to prepare for them.
When I took the ASVAB some time ago I made a 98 on it, but I doubt that is meaningful in this context. There seems to be a consensus that high school SAT vs collegiate ACT/SAT is a fair comparison between the two tests.
Study the ASA groundschool book.
It's easy. Nothing to worry about.

buy one, you can pick one up from any closing shops for a few hundred of dollars. I got mine for $200 from crags list, though it needed some work to bring it back to working order, but it's still good and I been making experiment proto types the test theories

Hey guys I have a question
Semi-auto black rifles like the AR15 or whatever scary suburban baby killing assault wifle is limited to 5 rounds, but with a "pistol" marked 10rd magazine you can use that along with as many boolets as it will fit legally.
Bear with me here /k/
I believe that I'm correct in saying that BOLT ACTION rifles like pic related are unregulated when it comes to magazine capacity. However that magazine needs to be stamped as firearm specific
Now to my question:
Would it hypothetically be legal to put a 30 Round magazine for a bolt action rifle (Stamped for the specific rifle obviously and if such a thing exists) in something like an AR15 provided it fits and functions properly?
Thanks for reading senpai. Genuinely curious if anybody else has ever considered this.
>>33972549
Yes you're right. But there isnt a 10+ rounds bolt action specific mag that would fit in an AR.
>>33972549
sounds like your talking about scout rifles.
>>33972549
So, like this?
Note, that is a Long Branch No 4.
Thread for gun safes.
Or how ever you protect your funs
Is a gun safe the same thing as a gun cabinet? Cabinets seem to be much cheaper.
>>33972488
If you take out the descriptor "gun," would you consider a safe and cabinet to be the same thing?
>>33972488
Safes as the name implies are safer. Heavier walls etc. Practically, the thicker walls won't stop a burgler, compared to a cabinet. Neither is more practically secure. But they're both very good at what they do.
Ideally you'd have a central closet away from windows you add some good solid locks into and and a solid door, and it's good. Plenty of space for guns, secure, etc.
