I know a lot on my mother's side, but I haven't associated with my father in 14 years and I have no intent to ever speak to him again (no, he's not black). That's half my ancestry missing. Family members also frequently lie about ancestry. My great grandmother told my mother we had English ancestry only to find out later it was really German and she was lying due to anti-German sentiment in the US due to the World Wars.

I crushed the GRE so I'm hoping that helps me out for grad schools, considering I got a fairly average GPA in undergrad (0.2 above the average for my major)

I have no earthly idea. I'm stuck at Tufts for another year (fuck me), so I'm going to evaluate my options in the coming months. I've thought about maybe USC or Emory, but it really depends if I can get an equivalent or better scholarship offer.

All I know is I hate Tufts from the depths of my heart. I seriously do, it's an awful place. Don't ever send your kids there. I've legitimately never felt more worried, depressed, and filled with anxiety in my life - and that's saying a LOT because I've been through some shit.

In the meantime, I'm just going to smoke/drug the rest of the summer away, finish any major flag obligations, and then go take sophomore year head on the best I can.

What about UNC Chapel Hill? It's ranked 29 in national universities which is just 2 places lower than Tufts and has a much lower average SAT score (literally 150 points lower) than Tufts so it's not that hard to get in

And are you planning to give the SAT again because a 1400 would be a lot helpful than 1800 something in the old one?
