APL awards freeleech tokens for every 5 perfect flacs uploaded and has regular staff picks. both APL and RED have threads where you can ask to have your unsnatched uploads snatched. RED requires that you wait 4 weeks to request, APL has a one week wait.

No, but they make it harder to prosecute because generally you have to cross borders. So for example some America has a seedbox from a company in Canada that has a server in the Netherlands. To prosecute that is not impossible, but it would be very expensive for very little return. If you're on a public tracker, there's no real incentive for you to seed other than your principle to be a contributing member to the public community. I agreed that works to an extent but as soon as you want to post cat pictures or skype with your grandma, you're going to spend less upload bandwith seeding and more doing your own thing.

They said it was bullshit, that you can properly seed with no inconvenience at all and that upload bandwith isn't scarce. I just can't.

MAM has open signups every wednesday and saturday, join there. they've got a pretty meh invite forum but it's enough to get started. RED has interviews, anyone can pass them. join there, and enjoy the frustration of trying to build buffer. RED elite has good invites but the buffer is going to be a bear

your best hope to get "rolling" on PTs ahead of schedule is to get into AB, since weebs are easy to befriend on the internet and they've got a stellar invite forum. with nyaa (public anime tracker) shutting down recently it may have toughened it up since you're bound to have more competition

expect it to take 12+ months to climb to BTN/HDB/PTP properly from this point. yes, there is a BTN thread on TehC @ 6 months, the guy hasn't processed any invites since the end of march, so it's already boding pretty badly for that route.

do your homework on a site when you get in, read the wiki and the most recent forum threads on official announcements. IF you decide to participate in a tracker's community via irc/forums, i highly suggest doing the following
