so after some careful consideration I realized I made a mistake buying a non-water cooler. i have some expendable income right now so it isnt much of a big deal to buy a more appropriate cooler. this one doesnt seem incredible but it will do for now until I get a better (bigger) case.

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/h2FVf8

here is the final build. I definitely payed premium on some parts for the brands, aesthetics, insurance, and shipping.

this is my first build, btw.

Today a friend asked for help for building a new pc

Found out gtx down to 1050's exists

How much of a meme card are 1050 & 1060 compared to the good old gtx 970?

G3258 or G4400 for budget gaming.

970 is better by a fair margin but is more expensive

yes if you're okay with medium-low settings at sub-60fps 1080p.

Go for an RX470 at that price range

I have a 1070 and a 600 w power supply and a micro atx case. So around 150 - 200

Where did the $47 2TB HGST HDD come from? I can't find it anything less than three to four times that price anywhere.

I also have a hyper cooler 212 evo and HDD and SSD. I've been trying to squeeze the life out of my old PC and it finally died so I need a new processor, motherboard and RAM.

I wouldn't go lower than an i3 if you're planning to play any new games. Dualcore without SMT just doesn't cut it anymore.

dude you dont even need 500w. even 400 might be pushing it
>>
>>58307264
Core components are good, maybe would've done a 6600k if you're only gaming but meh.
That power supply is ridiculous, the ram is ridiculous. You have a case with no window, so why did you spend extra money on aesthetics? If you put it in a black or white nzxt S340 youll at least have a window to view your shit.
I'd say a 120mm AIO probably won't cool as well as a good $60 tower cooler btw.
>>
>>58308284
If you want to save some money, you might consider the 6100 because it's only clocked 100 MHz lower. Or alternatively you could wait for Kaby Lake pentiums, they're apparently going to have hyperthreading http://ark.intel.com/products/family/29862/Intel-Pentium-Processor#@Desktop
>>
>>58308341
I already own the 600w from a previous build.
>>
Just ordered asus gtx 1070 dual oc, did I fuck up?

For use with triple 1080p displays.
>>
>>58308351
thanks for the advice anon. i am upgrading the case later which is why i care. it also just triggers me having autistic "gaming" aesthetic gear with ridiculous led's and plates.

this is an overclocking build and I do much more than just gaming (programming, music/video production, VM's) so the cpu, ram and psu I think are appropriate.
>>
>>58307329
1060 is slightly better than 970, but if you buy one used you'll get a great 1080p card. The RX470 is the best bang for buck card, especially since stock clocks are so low (good OC possible).

>>58307494
Yeah

Might be Russian roulette. Some people who received "new" drives actually received used drives. Check drive if you buy one for around ~50USD

>>58308284
A little weak for a 1070 build. Consider an i5 6500. No reason to get a 6300 over a 6100

No

Pretty soon I'm going to want to update my CPU + mobo but keep everything else in my system the same, including my HDD+SSD. How easy will it be to upgrade? Will it be as simple as installing new drivers? I'd prefer not to reinstall my OS.

Currently running H97 chipset, either going to switch to Z97 (may get access to a 4770K for cheap or free, they're still very good from what I understand) or AM4 with Zen if the price is what I expect for similar performance.

No more room for HDDs, what is a good enclosure to turn old ones into a USB device? Is it worth spending $20 on what is really a glorified adapter?

Bonus points if it accepts 2.5" drives too and runs on USB power, but I assume that's not practical.
>>
>>58308407
The power supply is ridiculous because a much cheaper lower wattage unit will be more than enough. EVGA GQ 650 is $71 and even that's overkill.
Why upgrade the case later instead of just buying a good one to start with? Wasting $59 and going through the hassle of swapping everything
>>
>>58308501
You'll have to reinstall OS

Any i7 3770K or greater is good
>>
>>58308522
It's not worth the AC power hassle to run 3.5" HDDs in an enclosure.
>>
>>58308526
at the time of purchase most reputable gold psu's from 650-750 were around the same price, so i decided to go higher for just a few bucks.

i bought the case thinking I was gonna get a 6600k, but I changed my mind a few days later (before i bough all the rest of my components). i also had to end up buying another cooler because the one i originally got just wasnt gonna be good enough.

my mistake for reconsidering my budget halfway into buying my parts.
>>
>>58308577
>>58308526
to add to this, what is a case you would reccommend for the components I bought? something all-black with a window and nothing flashy

Reposting from old thread!

Anyone here have a Fractal Design Nano S, or maybe seen one up close? I'm planning to move my system to itx and want to use one.

Do I get a 850W PSU for my planned 6700K/1080Ti build or a 1000W in case I get a second later on and run them in SLI?

I plan to overclock and using the Titan X as a guide it looks like each card will suck 300W at max.

Im looking at ordering parts for a known laptop set off of ebay. It looks promising as hell if I can get everything. I think if I can get the wifi card, ram from my current laptop to work the total for a razer blade 2015 could be like $400

1050Ti is really only good if you don't have PCIe power connectors. Otherwise other cards are more powerful and have a better price/perf ratio

Yeah I'm torn between the 1050ti and Rx 470. It's a price difference of 40shekels but I'm not sure if a 425watt PSU would handle a 470. Xeons eat up power under load.. The 1650 demands up to 180 watt.

Is there a 144hz monitor that also comes in an identical 60hz version? I want two screens that look identical but dont want to pay for two 144hz when I only want one.
>>
>>58306711

this is a pretty good list but they are also not valid because several parts are no longer avalible and dont have pictures, also the Mobo and GPU and Ram and Storage is constantly changing

sometimes others are much cheaper, the easier method would just be to post the actual parts, let the people click on the sorting and choose the cheapest

especially with how mechanical the GTX's are now a days

also you have a RX470 listed, you can get a 1060 6GB for the same price and its light years ahead

there is zero reason to use any AMD products anymore, outside of the 1 month the RX 480 came out this summer, before Nvidia released their 1000 series
>>
>>58310328
But a good single fan radiator is comparable to a 240mm watercooler, I was just suggesting a better alternative if he actually thinks an aircooler was the biggest mistake of his build
>>
>>58310743
480 is as good and arguably better than a 1060 now
The point is they are matched and there no reason to prefer a 1060 or prefer a 480 outside of specific circumstances
>>
When is 1080ti dropping. I wanna see the 60 & 70 possibly drop in price
>>
>>58310894
They won't.
Unless you think the 1080 will be pushed down 30% of its price, the 1070 and 1070 prices aren't changing at all
1080 and Titan XP are the only prices that will go down, and even the 1080 going down is assumption
>>
>>58309805
>>58309883

>>
>>58310959
Titan won't go down.
1080ti won't be faster than the new Titan.
>>
>>58310743
>this is a pretty good list but they are also not valid because several parts are no longer avalible and dont have pictures,
Yes, but it's clearly stated that the reader should click the Build to read its description. The real point is the skeleton, and the parts are just examples.

>on also the Mobo and GPU and Ram and Storage is constantly changing
Yes, and how is this a bad thing? I'm trying to keep the parts somewhat up to date.

>sometimes others are much cheaper, the easier method would just be to post the actual parts, let the people click on the sorting and choose the cheapest
Not sure what you mean by this, but you can click on the build to see its skelly.

>especially with how mechanical the GTX's are now a days
U wot

>also you have a RX470 listed, you can get a 1060 6GB for the same price and its light years ahead
Doubt it.. aftermarket4GB RX470 is 185USD or less, while the 3GB 1060 is 200USD last time I checked.

>there is zero reason to use any AMD products anymore, outside of the 1 month the RX 480 came out this summer, before Nvidia released their 1000 series
Agreed regarding AMD's current CPUs/APUs, but the RX470 is the best price/perf card for 1080p, which is why it's listed in a lot of those builds. The notes section suggests that 470/480/1060 can be swapped out at will.
>>
>>58311042
But 1080ti is the Titan GPU, with the Titan RAM, for almost half the price. The Titan XP of course being an overpriced card specifically made for the non-professional market that wants "the best" and is willing to drop $1400 for "the best"
"Better" or not you can bet your ass the Titan XP will go down
>>
>>58311094

>>
>>58311137
Obviously
>>
>>58311094
1080ti won't be as fast as the Pascal Titan x mark my words
>>
>>58311137
Oh, the OLD Titan X, sure that won't go down, it's already down and it's already worse than last-gen midrange gaymen cards. So I don't see why you would want that when a 1080 (which probably will drop) is literally better than the old Titan X, and in much better stock
>>
>>58311194
But it will be the exact same hardware for $600 cheaper
People birch about the 1080 only having 20% better performance than a card $200 less, you think a $1400 card that performs similar to a $800 card will still hold value?

Sorry, didn't see this earlier. I'm not opposed to changing any of the parts if you link me to better ones.

>case
No blue, no LEDs, no window. T5 has SSD mounts and a low number of external bays

>RAM
Could be that prices have changed. The Geil is usually the cheapest and has compatability with the mobo I selected. I updated RAM not too long ago. Also you have to compare 3000MHz to 3000MHz, not sure that you are.

>case
It's a safe choice.

>Powercolor
The warranty is fine and stays cheap. If you have a particular model that you think is better, list it.

>EVGA

>PSU
I'll think about it for the 1070 build, since the 50W might come in handy considering the user could easily upgrade to a 300W card

Basically same price as B150 with fewer RAM slots. I've considered changing to H110 with a single stick 8GB RAM config. I figure it's six of one, half a dozen of the other.

No there isn't, they're shipping out thermal pads for free and replacing any cards that catch on fire
Probably because recalling every single one of the most popular line of the most popular gpus and then replacing them, replacing their entire GPU stack they bought from nvidia, would be kind of retarded, safety issue or not
>>
>>58311937
Point is if the guts are submerged the cooler is unnecessary and the fans would probably burn out quickly
>>
>>58311899
Mineral oil is apparently very high maintenance with cracked plastic/glass, oil cleaning and cleaning oil that creeps up your cables and out of the PC
>>
>>58311921
I keep hearing not to skimp out on the powersupply so even though it was overkill it didn't seem like a bad idea. What do I actually need?
>>
>>58311970
The fan is unecessary, the cooler still serves as a low-heat-density heatsink and should be kept
But yeah, get rid of your fans and put a simple aquarium recycler in
>>
>>58311981
"don't skimp" means to get a quality brand and build quality, not high wattage
You don't need more than 650w, you don't need more than 550w, you just need a good PSU
People here generally recommend seasonic power supplies or EVGA's G2 whatever. Corsair rebrands other PSUs (like many companies), so while they have some good PSUs, they have some shit PSUs (like the CX series)
Seasonic isn't expensive and is pretty damn quality

>>58311730
>No blue, no LEDs, no window.
What?

>Also you have to compare 3000MHz to 3000MHz
No. 3000 RAM simply makes no sense for non-OC builds, therefore it's a complete waste of money.

>case
Sure a safe choice, but why? There are other cheaper options that are just as good or better: CM N200/300/400, Tt H15/25 and Deepcool TESSERACT.

>Powercolor
It's shit, end of story. Stick with XFX RS/GTR, Sapphire Nitro+/OC and for premium Asus.

>It's a tiny, tiny number of cards
So. It's also a tiny portion of Note 7's that exploded. It's a sign of bad design that one should stay clear off. EVGA is a good brand but they completely fucked up there.

>PSU
Include SeaSonic G for budget/medium and EVGA G2/G3 for medium/high-end.

>H110
No. B150 is still more expensive, this matters especially for low-end budget builds. H110 gives you everything you need and usually saves you 10-30 bucks.

I can understand that. I really only wanted it for the appearance. I just wanted it to seem active submerged and didn't know if the power supply that I chose would be enough "activity for me."

>>58311974

I was worried about that. I know that I have to use plastic, and oil creep is the main thing scaring me. Oil cleaning and maintenance, I'm not so bothered by.
>>

>I'm telling you that the case you suggested is gaudy, and windowed is not a basic option.
You realize that case comes with and without a window kit and who cares if there are one or two LED fans?
With a non-window version you only see the front LED fans and imho that's something you shouldn't care about considering how good the whole package is.
Also, you are not less autistic than the regular /v/tard who demands his LEDs if you say such a good case is not an option because it has a fucking LED fan.

>The B150 builds have 2133
Yes and it's still stupidly expensive "gaudy" Gayl RAM for 50 bucks when you can get Team Elite RAM for 35 bucks.

>My previous rebuttable applies to the rest of your points.
It doesn't. You willingly and knowingly include parts that are more expensive and/or of lesser quality.

>You probably saved $10 off a $6-700 build, nice job.
Nope. I save more and/or have higher quality parts.

>Not really much better, see the previous screenshot.
Yes it is much better, see benchmarks at tweaktown. SP550 is mediocore at best while the CS1311 offers excellent value and good results.

>Gayl RAM for 50 bucks when you can get Team Elite RAM for 35 bucks.
It's not on pcpartpicker, and I can't be updating and checking mobo compatibility every fucking sale. I just checked on pcpartpicker, and Geil is $2 more expensive than the best deal on there. AND I know it's compatible with the mobo.

>SSD
I already updated the first two SSD containing builds.

For a dual monitor setup, does it make any sense to have one monitor be IPS and the other TN (each maximizing visuals for graphic design and gaming purposes, respectively)? Or should the monitors be the same type but compromising on both qualities?

hi guys

I can fit an ATX board in a medium case right?

I'm trying to replace my old msi p67a gd55 with something compatible just so I don't have to make a full upgrade and can still use this 780ti my cousin loaned me.

So far I know the requirements are

DDR3
LGA1155

and I absolutely need
PCI x 2
SATA3 x 2, ( at least. I have 3 ssd )
SATA2 x4, ( and I need a total of 6 drive slots )
USB3 x 1 ( at least. I have an external drive and 1 usb to sata adapater )
USB2 x 4 for my mouse, kb, wireless receiver and the occassional usb drive.

I know I'm being awful specific but the thing is I have no idea where to begin looking. Also, I can't find the same board anymore. I tried amazon and got the prices I paid 5 years ago. I tried ebay and found nothing but broken mobos. fry's but everything is so over-priced there now. I have only mom and pop shops to try and maybe you guys.

I only intend on playing Fallout 4, maybe ps2 emulators, League of Legends, Starcraft 2 and maaaaaaaaaaaaaybe overwatch but I don't want a total graphical overhaul. Playing the games on high would be the ideal for me.

I also do programming and manage linux machines from time to time. I would be booting possibly several linux distros, w7, w10.

If it's capable I would like to do some light photo manipulation and image creating, in case I start JS soon, maybe light light light video editing ( fraps, obs, vdub ) and some audacity.

If by medium you mean mid-tower then yes. If in doubt check the manufacturer's website, it will say which form factors are supported. ATX is the most common so all but the smallest cases will support it.

>I'm trying to replace my old msi p67a gd55 with something compatible just so I don't have to make a full upgrade and can still use this 780ti my cousin loaned me.
The MSI P67a GD55 supports the 780 Ti just fine. It has PCI-E 2.0 whilst the 780 Ti is PCI-E 3.0 but it's backwards compatible so it will work.

You motherboard already has 2 SATA III and 4 SATA II ports so there's room for all your drives.

Unless there's another problem with your motherboard you don't need to change it.

>2 gpu - radeon HD6670 and gtx 780ti
Wait, do you mean you want to use both at once? Not possible. You're trying to mix two different cards, one AMD and one nVidia.

When you see people with dual GPU setups (SLI for nvidia cards, Crossfire for AMD) they're using two identical cards. Same manufacturer, same model, they even run at identical clock speeds (the speed of the slower card).

1) Check the temp with some other programs like Speedfan, Real Temp and Speccy. Sometimes a single program will give a weird result. If they all say super high temps then you have a problem.

2) If you're actually running hot, check the fans are spinning. You might have forgotten to plug the CPU fan in or knocked it loose.

3) If you removed and replaced the CPU heatsink, did you remember thermal paste? Is it definitely seated properly? If in doubt remove it, reapply thermal paste, re-seat it.

4) Check fan orientation, make sure they're blowing the way you think they're blowing and that you don't have to fans blowing towards each other, creating a stalemate.

Most likely 1) will 'solve' your problem.

Noice! Thank you!

And to think I had bookmarked a few z77 mobos with intent to purchased blindly.

Thanks again!

I may be back in a few weeks or months to build a budget ddr4 i5 6700k gaming build. I figure for that I'll just need the processor, ram and mobo. Maybe I can get like 500 between now and then.

Once more, thank you!

PSA for anyone buying parts, had an absolutely horrid experience with pccasegear over the christmas period. Ordered the parts on the 21st and they only shipped from their warehouse yesterday. Took days (business days) for them to respond to my enquiries, assuring me that I would have the parts at my door by the 30th, but here we are. Also they wanted 80 dollars shipping for a case that Kogan shipped for 10 dollars less and $24 shipping. I ordered the case a full week later and it shipped earlier than the pccasegear parts did.
>>
>>58316990

realtemp wont work for me, speccy gives completely ridiculous temps, which seems to be the case for a lot of people using the same CPU(x4 860k) after a bit of googling, speedfan gives me somewhat believable numbers(55-70c) under load.

shit like afterburner has them ranging from 5(lol) to 90c. its pretty fucking confusing

To be honest, I have no clue whether pccasegear is supposed to be any good or not, but come on.

I'd believe those speedfan temps, 70 under load on air cooling is fine.

What GPU do you have? Some honestly do run at 90 when under load.

I expected delays, but not two weeks of them. Besides that, one of their reps told me that they'd be here 5 days ago, and they only just shipped. I can wait but I don't like being lied to by people I'm buying 900 dollars worth of shit with.
>>
>>58317070
Sorry, I obviously meant 1155. There shouldn't be any issues using an older CPU with a newer MOBO, as long as they're socket compatible. If you tried to use Ivy Bridge CPU with 60-series chipset, THEN you might run into issues if the BIOS hasn't been properly updated.

No worries, this is what these threads are for.

When it comes to replacing the motherboard this is what I recommend:

>Backup your files externally
>Format all your drives
>Install new motherboard
>Clean install Windows
>Copy over your files

I tried to transplant drives from one pc to the next once and it was a massive fucking headache.
>>
>>58317489
I'm right there with you. I actually lost my main OS on that last rig like three times. Just earlier today I wrote over my win7 boot volume by dd'ing to sda instead of sdb. I officially have nothing but storage devices. I did burn about 5 OS DVDs prior, though.

I'm currently running parabola from the optical drive. Hoping I can wipe sda cleanly now so I can install and boot from hdd and not have to mess with these CDs. It seems that after a burn the computer starts to chug real hard and my keyboard hiccups to buffer the text. But maybe that's just the arch cache being written over in ram for the higher ( more random? ) values I have set from the wipes earlier.

What is the build for and why are you getting 32 GB of RAM? Also, since you're getting a z170 chipset, you might as well get faster RAM.

The wattage of the PSU isn't a problem, but with your budget you really should get something 80+ gold rated that isn't corsair.

What do I need to buy to put a HDD/SSD into a disk drive bay?
>>
>>58318014
It's for gaming / web browsing / general development and art use (preferably with the possibility to do those things at the same time). My last entirely new rig was in 2010, and I'm sort of splurging to celebrate getting a decent job with a decent wage after living in poverty for my five years in the university.

On the RAM, as far as I've been told, there's not a huge bottlenecking difference, and getting the 2400hz ddr4 would be almost twice as expensive. The amount of ram was just a decent package deal (and the possibility of multitasking with some decently heavy applications like Zbrush / After effects and other rendering shit)

I loaded up rufus and it automatically set the file system as NTFS but when i click on the drop down menu it has Fat32 (default)

I'm kinda lost here and unsure what to do I don't know which once (Fat32 or NTFS) I was supposed to use. Just want to make sure I'm not doing something stupid.

I guess this is the most appropriate place to ask this.

Haven't paid attention to hard drive shenanigans for a few years. Last time I remember people suggesting to avoid 2tb hdds because of high failure rates or something. Are 2-5tb drives more stable now? I desperately need to replace my existing external hdd because that thing is old and was giving me read errors a couple of years ago, so I'm too scared to use it on a regular basis. What are some good hard drives I should be looking for? Seagate is still a brand to avoid, right?

I have an old HP prebuilt computer (no bully pls), and it has ran very well for the last 7-8 years.

Now, while it still works fine, the CPU fan gets abnormally loud under heavy load.

>if you ever want to upgrade you wont have to do all the cable management again because that shit is fucking awful

is it worth putting the money into getting a mechanical keyboard?
never used one but i'm not sure if it's worth investing in one. don't really do much gaming.
>>
>>58325056

its a fucking meme to sell razer keyboards to 13 year olds
>>
>>58313857
Speaking of selling shit, how much should I sell my MSI Z170A-PRO for? I'm thinking that 40 or 50 bucks is an okay price.
>>
>>58325023
Oh and go for full moduluar you won't regret it.
>>
>>58325076
Why? What's the difference?
>>
>>58325056
I've been using a G710 with cherry blue switches for about a year now, I'd say it's definitely worth the 60€ I spent on it. The only problem is that you quickly become aware of how much cheap keyboards suck when you have to use them.
>>
should i get any thermal paste? anything else i need for building the pc other than the components?
>>
>>58325072
Flash it with the newest BIOS so it supports baby cake.
Adds value I would say.

>>58325093
A modular PSU makes assembly a shitton easier & cleaner result.
Maybe it improves airflow too, some people believe that.
>>
>>58325056
I got a Das a while ago when I still played vidya and I currently own a Novatouch. If your livelihood depends on typing, I'd say it's a worthwhile purchase. Just don't fall for the gaymen hype.
>>
>>58325120

paste is required, just dont use too much of it, was a mistake i made with my first pc. get an after market cpu cooler if youre not already getting one.

guys what RAM brands and sizes are good/recommended right now?

These ancient 4GB vengeance dimms are no longer cutting it and I think they're actually causing some blue screen crashes.
>>
>>58325159
does the cpu/cooler not already come with it preapplied?
>>
>>58325050
rx 470/480
>>
>>58325212

what? of course not if youre building it yourself. and the stock cooler(especially the AMD one) is a piece of shit
>>
>>58325185
whatever is cheapest. it makes no difference, most ram is made by only 2 or 3 different companies.
>>
>>58325185
at the moment 16GB is the sweetspot, get something with decent speeds and stability, shoddy RAM is one of the main causes of blue screens.
>>
>>58325244
>at the moment 16GB is the sweetspot
makes no difference for gayman
8gb is still fine
>>
>>58325230
okay thanks.
what should i get with it then? any remover?
any cable ties needed?
none of the things i've read mention what else you need other than the components.
>>
>>58325303

would help if you posted the stuff youre going to buy
>>
>>58325322
all the components that a pc needs to function
i.e.
cpu
cooler
ssd
memory
psu
gpu
monitor
kb/m
>>
>>58325356

well a case obviously, and you will need the thermal paste if youre installing a non-stock cooler. cable ties are pretty good also, yes
>>
>>58325356
What's an i.e.?
>>
>>58325403

incredible erection you get from finishing your first build
>>
>>58325424
Sounds dangerous.

What would be the best video card for a this setup? I know I need to upgrade everything but I want to get the GPU out of the way first, also since I am sticking with AMD people said wait on upgrading that.
>>
>>58325508
Oh I am on a 1080 60 monitor.
>>
>>58325508
>amd processor in the (((((current year)))))))
I'm sorry lad

get
>used i5 ivy bridge or haswell
>used mobo

and
>used gtx 970
or rx 470/480
>>
>>58325388
thanks.
any particular way to apply the thermal paste? is it worth getting paste remover just in case too?
>>

>no expensive mouse/headset/keyboard
>no "REEEEE CORSAIR MEME" neckbeards
>>
>>58325602
Not going to oc btw
First build
>>
>>58325595

watch some youtube videos on it, just dont overdo the amount.

isopropyl alcohol is good for cleaning the paste from the cpu and cooler if you ever need to re-apply it
>>
>>58325589
I was looking to get an rx but I need to know if I should get a 480 4GB or a 470 8GB, 480 8GB is too rich for my pocket.
>>
>>58325602
480 4GB.
>>
>>58325658
There's pretty much no point in the 8GB version of 470 unless you plan to crossfire. Games just don't use that much VRAM at settings it can handle.
>>
>>58325792
Thank you for your input.
>>
>>58325767
Are you sure 4GB VRAM is enough for the next couple of years ?
>>
>>58325658
8gb vram is overkill for 1080p
>>
>>58325833
So 4GB is enough for modded games like Skyrim and Fallout?
>>
Gonna be ordering https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128841

Hows http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?item=N82E16820231888 for RAM?
>>
>>58325943
it depends on how many mods you want to use.
also both fallout 4 and skyrim are unoptimized crap.

not many texture mods, but I would like to use an ENB, my mods are mostly clothing and cosmetic mods.

4gb will be fine, also enb is placebo.

Hello g/ents.

What is the best card for i5-4690 non-k?
1060 or 1070? Will 1070 get bottlenecked by CPU?
