- Nostream (nos): Run by Sarek. Got hacked and the passwords/email db got dumped. Re-emerged but no one can trust this tracker again.
- NotWhat. It's the smallest tracker now and was the latest to open and only ever got mentioned on /ptg/ for the longest time. Basically it's lost the war

These are the two major ones. Passingtheheadphones and APL
- Note that both of these trackers have /ptg/ on their staff/FLS so /ptg/ is full of shitposting
- Apollo in particular has Z on damage control

I have an account on apollo as someone recommended I join during open signups, but the apparent lack of security makes me a little nervous. It's fortunate that w.cd took user security extremely seriously and purged all user data, but I'm not sure the same safeguards are in place at APL.

It seems like they're getting their act together, but the smart money might be to close recruitment and focus on securing the site/goals. It would be a mistake to run a tracker like a race - longevity, security, and a good library of content is the goal.

Security issues on apollo are a concern for me as well. Apollo staff have made some pretty poor decisions, with multiple u-turns, they also seem inexperienced and immature.
Apollo has also gone for growth-at-all-costs with open reg, invite dumps, easy irc interviews and a 2-week global freeleech. PTH has, instead, gone for a slow, steady expansion, with highly-selective recruitment. The staff decisions up until now have been sound and well thought out.
I think the stats speak for themselves.
It's certainly an interesting experiment in how to grow a tracker using 2 different approaches.

Protip if any of the unpaid volunteers of that site are reading: Uploaders do not like cocky and finicky admins. Leave the egotism to the uploaders, for that is their only reward. And the more of a pain in the ass you are to deal with, it shows you're not going to be any good to deal with when something goes wrong (i.e. rule violation of some sort, whether it be duplicate, questionable content, quality problem, etc.).

If I upload something to Empornium that breaks the rules, I know I'll be able to discuss it and rectify it and not be punished for my ignorance - with oppaitime you have admins more concerned with maintaining an image of exclusivity rather than actual good quality content (I wonder if they even actual have any OC uploads, I bet everything is just reposted from nyaa)

That's what I went to, and they started their interview, and stopped the interview when I couldn't name whatever number it was of main categories

They're trying to emulate what what.cd was, except what.cd actually had good content and a large userbase that started from the collapse of another site.

I think interviews for joining torrent sites are stupid though, no matter what the site. Empornium, Pornbay, etc. do it right - no interview, just the right restrictions and incentives when you use it.

I chucked mine into 1-2 GB torrents with preferably more than two leechers and only one seeder being careful that the leechers are leeching and not like 98%. Sort by leechers, only normal not freeleech, untick group by releases in advance search. I uploaded almost 3 GB on a single token today because a whole bunch of people were quietly doing it with their new tokens in my morning.
